I usually refrain from criticizing food or beverages, but I felt compelled to share my experience this time so that others aren't fooled. Yesterday I had an Iced Mocha at the Café Coffee Day outlet in DN Regalia Mall, Bhubaneswar and I must say, it was a serious letdown. The drink tasted like diluted water with a hint of coffee, some ice, and a dash of chocolate syrup. It lacked depth, richness, and any proper balance of flavors. For ₹295, this was extremely disappointing — not to mention overpriced for what was served. When I asked the staff about it, I was told the recipe doesn't include sugar and only uses chocolate syrup. That’s acceptable — but that’s no excuse for a lackluster drink. There was absolutely no flavor harmony; even the basics weren’t right. In fact, I’d strongly recommend trying the cold coffee at Giani in the same mall. They don’t add sugar either, yet the drink tastes balanced and far superior. I’ve had a similar experience with this CCD before — once with a Vietnamese Coffee ordered via Swiggy, which also lacked taste. Thankfully, Swiggy refunded that order. I recently paid a visit to CCD and decided to treat myself to a scrumptious delight - the signature ice cold coffee... With a hankering for something sweet and indulgent, I eagerly dug into this tempting creation. I must say, the taste of this heavenly concoction surpassed my expectations, leaving me with an experience worth savoring.

The service at CCD was also commendable. The staff members were friendly and attentive, ensuring that my order was promptly taken and delivered with care. They were knowledgeable about the menu and willingly provided recommendations when asked. It's always a pleasure to be greeted with warm smiles and receive...

The staff doesn’t know how to greet and talk to customer. We were attended by a lady staff with least interest and full of arrogance.

We requested our drinks to be without ice for which she told i will serve you guys half glass of the drinks! Is this the standard ? Totally unacceptable.

They did not accept credit card also the upi that they gave us was personal upi. And said system is down.
