Read moreYes, I do believe - A Ramen Bowl is all loaded with goodness straight from the heaven! A bowl with so much of flavours and ingredients that you just can't stop slurping. Since it's inception in late 1800s in China, it all travelled to Japan. The popularity grew worldwide and so does it's craze among the foodies and explorers. Over the years I have always wished to have it in our local area but I couldn't find a good one however. But recently while I was browsing, I found this amazing modish outlet named Ramen N Pho that takes pride in serving signature Ramen Bowls. A bowl filled with noodles, broth, veggies and several toppings. What better than slurping hot noodles with delicious broth? They further serve other Thai delicacies which you can savor. The ambience is pretty cool as the walls are beautifully painted. Seating space is good enough to accommodate a decent numbers. A partial see through kitchen looks thoughtfully managed and arranged. The entire restaurant fills in with good aroma and you for sure will have a feeling of dining in a Japanese Noodle Bar. Here's what I had: Veg Lime Cilantro Soup - Making this soup perfectly well needs expertise. A simple yet complex one to make. A clear soup with veggies, lime and cilantro. The prominent flavour of lime makes it worth having it. Mild in spice yet flavourful. Enjoy it hot and you will love it. Highly Recommended 🤘🏻 Work Tossed Chestnut - A classic and all time favourite was next on the table. Chestnuts and mushrooms were wok tossed in honey and garlic till the Ingredients all blend well. Chestnuts were all glazed up with honey and other sauces. The sweet & spicy flavours together make a mesmerizing combination. Highly Recommended 🤘🏻 Phad Thai - Having always the regular kinda noodles is boring at times. Thus, tried this flat noodles delicacy. A popular Thai street food is for sure a great option to try. Flat noodles are wok tossed along with peanuts, soy, veggies and brown sugar. The crunch that came from the noodles was the highlight of this dish. Mildly spiced, this one is worth remembering for long. Must try. Green Thai Curry - I am in absolute awe after having this one bowl meal. Hot steamed rice was served along with green Thai curry. The curry was made up of exotic veggies like brocolli, mushrooms, zucchini, bell peppers, and so. Flavoured with galangal and basil, with every spoon I had, the flavours just unfolds. The curry was thick in consistency and had that mild sweetness from the coconut milk. It was further balanced with those spicy notes. Have it with hot rice and you are all sorted. It was all served in a huge bowl and needs nothing more. Highly Highly Recommended 🤘🏻 This restaurant specialises in Miso Ramen, Creamy Tori, Spicy Mutton Chashu, and Vietnamese Pho. All served in a huge bowl. My overall experience was great and will surely visit again. Right from the service to ambience, food quality to taste, everything was worth...
Read moreLocation: Ramen Restaurant is conveniently located in Kharghar, right near the highway, making it easy to find and accessible for both local residents and travelers passing through. The strategic location adds to its appeal, especially for people looking to grab a quick meal without navigating through inner lanes. One of the perks is the availability of open parking just outside the restaurant, which eliminates the usual parking hassles.
Ambience and Cleanliness: While the interior has a casual and minimalistic setup, one major issue that stood out during our visit was the hygiene. Cockroaches were visibly roaming around on the furniture, which was a serious turn-off and raises concerns about cleanliness and overall sanitation. This needs immediate attention from the management.
Food Experience: The food, however, tells a different story. The flavors are commendable and the quality of preparation is impressive for a mid-range eatery.
Veg Manchurian: This dish is the clear highlight and comes highly recommended. The Manchurian balls are crisp on the outside and perfectly cooked inside, with a flavorful, tangy sauce that makes it a must-try.
Garlic Bread with Cheese: A decent side dish, crunchy and generously topped with cheese, though nothing out of the ordinary.
Chicken Vietnamese Ramen: Served piping hot, this ramen bowl is wholesome and comforting. With a rich broth and a good balance of protein, vegetables, and noodles, it qualifies as a satisfying full meal for one person.
Service: The staff is polite but the service pace is average. Given the hygiene issues and lack of beverage options, the staff could be more proactive in informing guests beforehand.
Beverage Selection – A Major Letdown: One major downside is the complete lack of cold drinks or any beverages other than water. Despite having a menu that lists cold drinks, not a single item was available. This is inconvenient for customers, especially given the spicy nature of some of the dishes that would pair well with a cold drink.
Verdict: Ramen Restaurant in Kharghar has a lot going for it in terms of location and food quality, especially the veg Manchurian and ramen offerings. However, the experience is marred by poor hygiene standards and a complete lack of beverage options, which severely impacts the overall dining experience. With some improvements in cleanliness and better management of their drinks menu, this place has the potential to be a popular spot for...
