Dock Cafe & Bar — Restaurant in Patiala

I visited this place for a virtual date. This place is located right before Mocha cafe, at 1st floor above Xiaomi store which makes it easy to locate from the road. It's a sea themed cafe. I visited on a Saturday afternoon when the whole place was empty. They have 1 table for outdoor/balcony seating as well. I ordered Hyderabadi Chicken dum Biryani and a beer. The Biryani had all the spices, lots of kaju and was quite greasy, just the way a good biryani should be and was enough for 2 people. Still on the lookout for the best Hyderabadi Biryani in Patiala. None of the Biryanis I've tried are on the same spice level as the ones I find in Hyderabad. Since I was the only customer and I was on a call, I asked them to turn down the music but they didn't, even after several requests, that's why 1 star less. Later that day I visited this place for a cold coffee with an extra shot and didn't expect the shot to come separate. The coffee glass was largely filled with ice. I finished the whole glass quite quickly. In conclusion I would say, amazing ambiance, good Biryani, good beer, but service and drinks definitely have room for...

Good place...nice atmosphere Food was really good, including the drinks The staff should learn to respect the privacy of the customers....they just kept on staring at us while we were eating The overall vibes of this place are very good....a good place to spend your evening or to have light lunch....their choice of music is also very good....its always according to the mood. Somtimes all the items in the menu are not available....well that may be a temporary problem...I don't know The food tastes great. And the drinks are also worth the price. Best place to visit with...

Very good place with a partial behaviour. They serve bottled beer from outside for some customer which is not allowed at all. I ask about it that if I can bring beer next time with me from outside. Very wrong practice. Treat your customers equal or just close this double standards. I am buying 2 liters of beer for 800 and where else I would get 4 bottles for outside which they allowed to some customers who bought only peanut masala and french fries. Your place is very good , please don't allow these type of customer or else we feel cheated buying...
