Eat Idly — Restaurant in Puducherry

Its a tiny place sufficient enough to dine in for bachelors and couples. The restaurant is sell service only. It has varieties of idli and dosa, also has ven pongal with coconut chutney and kara chutney along with hot and yummy sambar. They also serve different juices and tea, coffee. Its a pure vegetarian place open from 7am to 10pm. One negative part is that there is no seating option and one has to dine by standing!

It can be considered for a quick breakfast and dinner.

The taste is really good. Different varieties of idli are available and they can definitely be tried. As of pongal, they have named it as divine ven pongal and as it is named; so is the taste. It is definitely worth for 45 rupees and should be tried by pongal lovers!! The tea and coffee here has also good taste. It adds to the finishing touch of the meal, whatever one has. Juice is also a good option on the finishing side, but then it is okay only. I had a orange juice and it is of average type for 45 rupees. There are better places on the road side for 30 rupees.

Overall, all the items are served hot anytime and the taste is good and the quality is worth it for the money paid. Best part of the restaurant is pongal is available for the dinner!! Again, Pongal lovers must try the divine ven pongal here...

One of the best restaurant to have South Indian Tiffin. When ever I cross through the restaurant my daughter loves to eat idly in that restaurant and I recommend to all coz it's quality is still same from the year they started n they prepare so hygienically that any kid can eat out there blindly. Secondly the staffs are very humble n polite right from beginning of the restaurant till now n that the reason I'm posting this review. Today I ordered idly for my daughter at morning one of their staff had came to deliver I didn't ask his name but seeing my worry he just asked me about my worry I told that I need to get medication for my daughter n he helped me to get the medication immediately it was so good to see such a humble person who just didn't delivered only his order but had a great humanity to come forward n help you. The idli was cold, the 'black' coffee was with sugar, so asked for a black with no sugar. When the man came to the counter with it, instead of bringing it to where I was standing (no seats in the place), he just put it on the counter, turned away back to his cell phone.
