Tosai 99 Delights — Restaurant in Puducherry

Aloha(Means Hello)!!!! This was my first time reviewing in Google because the food that I had at this supremely amazing place called Toshai was absolutely deliciousssssssssssss ( I am drooling right now because I am absolutely happy)!!!!!!!! Now coming to few points to note that why one should choose this place to hang out with friends and family are as follows. Food: The dosas that they prepare here are thin and crisp with melting cheese on the top and your choice of toppings( which will be the choice of dosa which you choose).

You can see your food being prepared It is said that you eat with your eyes first . Making this statement true,this place will actually let you see your hot piping dosa with bubbling cheese on cooking stove. You can even ask the cook to adjust flavours according to your preferences. For example, I like more heat so I asked the cook to put little bit extra schezwan and he did that!!! 😇 This kind of service is provided by very few eating places and Toshai is one of them.

Food quality Every dosa here is prepare in front of customer (it's your wish wether you want to see it or not but they are transparent from their side) has good quality ingredients like amul cheese and butter and fresh batter only. For example, I saw the cook putting roughly 100 grams of cheese on my dosa , Amul cheeseeeeee!!☺️

Price They have economic dosas as well as signature dosas. The economic dosa ranges from 40 to 60 rupees ( which also has stuffing and flavours of your choice ) and special dosa ranges from 80 to 150 maximum. Hence, this place will never burn your pockets out and will fill your heart with contentment and happiness ( just like it did to mine) 😊 So it's a pocket friendly place with lots of options to choose as most dosa price lies in the range of 90 rupees a.k.a it's heaven for students like me🤗

Staff Staff here is super cooperative. I wanted to have some coke with my pizza dosa and it was not available with them so the owner got me a coke from other shop with a smiling face. ☺️

Service The service is very quick as you will be delivered with your hot dosa in 15 mins max.

Ambience Ambience is quite pleasant as there always some slow melodious song is playing at the back ground so you can enjoy some "me" time or hangout with your friends here.

Portion size/quantity of food One dosa is as same size as dominos medium size pizza. It is huge for a single person hence, worth every single penny.

Delivery They take delivery and delivery service is quick as well. You can order through Swiggy, Zomato or Uber eats, they are available everywhere but I would suggest you to order through their phone number provided on Google as they will tell you about the availability and time to be taken for your delivery more precisely.

I have given all my points here and shared bits of my experience as well. Do give this place a try if you want to have to Dosa but are craving for some twist in flavours as well. Every fusion dosa here is worth trying for. My favorite is pasta and pizza dosa. You can try Chinese noodles dosa as well that is also great. This is a cozy place to eats . You will enjoy every bite of your food, I swear!

Am a dosa lover and went inside doubtful if I would like the many varieties... Got confused looking at the menu and was lost...Came across Hat-trick dosa and ordered... Believe me when I say this it was YUMMY.... Didn't expect it to be this good and was completely surprised.. Will definitely visit again and try other varieties... The place is rather small and can maybe seat around 8-10 people at a time maximum.. The lady at the counter...

Great varieties of dosai, had hattrick dosai, pizza dosai (better than a pizza), chocolate dosai & mexican dosai, each one of them was delicious & unique, even the green chutney which they give along with the dosai was yummy! never had this experience anywhere else, loved it! Recommending you all to try it once and you will love it. Will visit...
