BEER & BEANS — Restaurant in Pune

The place is new on the block, but I am sure in coming days, it will be synonymous to being a cafe par excellence for drinks, fresh in-house prepared food and overall delightful dining experience.

During our visit to this newly opened place, wie had the opportunity to dig into some of their scrumptious dishes.

Veg Caesar Salad:

Extremely well made, using fresh vegetables and croutons, perfect seasoning, all nicely tossed together and served with a sleek drizzle of fresh parmesan. Tasted spectacular.

Granola with Greek yogurt & fresh fruits:

One look and you are bound to fall in love with this. Tasted even more delicious with all fruits esp. grapes, dragon fruit cuts and kiwi fruit slices.

3.Spicy Spinach & Cottage Cheese Pie:

I was in love with this dish, from the moment I took the first nibble. All ingredients were just perfectly in proportion for the dish to turn out super tasty.

Tomato, Capsicum & Mozzarella Calzone:

Good things come in small packets sometimes. This dish was a perfect example of that. Intrinsic flavours of each ingredient coming out so nicely, that the dish deserves to be this cafe's house speciality.

Chef's Special Pesto Pasta:

The problem with pesto sauce is the way Its made. But here, the in-house chef's have stirred up such a perfect sauce and when the toss it with all dente consistency of spaghetti pasta, the resulting dish is deservedly a Chef's special pesto pasta. Loved it to the 'T'.

6.Garden Fresh Pizza:

Hand rolled thin crust pizza base is used to prepare this wonder veg pizza. One of the best Pizza i have had in a long shot.

Signature Canollini:

The fresh cream filled Canollini were such a delight to the palette. Light, crisp outer cover, with fresh cream filled tasty delights.

Classic Blueberry Cheesecake:

One of the best made cheese cakes I would have ever had in my life time. Freshly baked to perfection with delicious in-house blueberry sauce poured over, this was a real spectacle.

Classic Tiramisu

Giving a new twist, to the way that dish is served, itself is a wonder. The tiramisu base was such light and fresh and topped with fresh, not so sweet cream, the dish is an hands down winner of the cafe in their deserts offerings.

Croissants & Coffees:

We had an array of delightful croissants, freshly baked to perfection, right from butter croissant, almond and cream filled croissant to banana filled croissants. They were such a wonderful pairing with their strong espresso coffee shots and pour over black coffee. The cafe also offer Syphon method brewed, lighter black coffee. The brewing is truly special process to watch. The coffee made of this brewing method is unique and very tasty. Must try for all black coffee lovers.

A recently opened Cafe in NIBM, it's classy for its Ambience (they have both indoor and outdoor seating) and commendable for its staff. They serves some really amazing coffee which you will not find easily in Pune. The cuisine served is French and Italian.

The chai tea frappe: the smooth flavour of cardamom which will give a hint of a chai but parallel to that, the overall taste will make you realise that its actually a frappe. The idea is brilliant. Coconut Belgian hot chocolate: places serving really good hot chocolate are hard to find and this Cafe has ended my hunt. The taste, the consistency, everything was amazing. Tomato and basil pei: served with a baked filling of tomato, the pie was well baked and had the perfect taste. The tangy taste of tomatoes very well complimented the spices. Spinach and cottage cheese pei: the raw taste of spinach could be felt in every bite of the pie, the cottage cheese filling went handy with the spinach. The overall taste was commendable. Chicken Tikka masala pizza: from the base, to the toppings every thing in this pizza was scrumptious. They make their dough in house and is freshly served. BBQ wings: the chicken was well cooked, it was tender and the BBQ sauce was very well complimenting it. The egg benedict : served with sauted potatoes and chicken sausages, was perfectly poached. The egg had a spinach topping. The dish was a pure bliss, the texture, the taste and the presentation. All day pancake: served with maple syrup, topped with fruits and whipped cream, the mini pancakes were soft, had a appealing taste and the oat flakes gave it a completing crunch. Chef's special pesto pasta: there is a reason why it's called chef's special and it's made with perfection. The flavour was very strong and the wholesome bite of creamy texture was amazing. Tomato capsicum calzone: the crust and the filling was very good. Almond and banana croissant: the buttery, flappy pastry filled with almonds and banana was the best thing that happened. The texture of the wheaped cream made it a perfect sweet dish. Blue berry cheescake: I can place my bets on this one, I am in love with the texture, the smoothness and the chess flavour of it. It's one of the best cheesecakes I ever had. Tiramisu : they take a slightly different route to their tiramisu, it was topped with coffee cream and dusted with coffee powder. It was scrumptious. Coming to their syphon coffee, which is a unique way of making black coffee to minimise the bitterness of it. It is made with two different chamber,s where gravity and vapour pressure makes your black coffee. It's one of the best Cafe to go with your friends or your family members. Hey Punekers, NEW PLACE ALERT. Caffe Ritazza has opened up in NIBM, Pune and I might just have had the best French & Italian cuisine, along with exotic coffees of my life there!

The ambiance is quite intimate & cozy. They have both outdoor and indoor seating. The staff is extremely friendly.

So Here are the Coffee's, frappe's & latte's I tried personally - Syphon Coffee - a unique way of making black coffee to minimize the bitterness of it. Pour-over coffee, Espresso coffee, Caramel frappe, Special frappe, Caramel latte, Cheesecake latte, Coconut Belgian hot chocolate, Chai Tea frappe - Highly Recommended
