Cafe Durga — Restaurant in Pune

It is a placed haunted by the college crowd specially for thick cold coffee. Well it is one of the oldest or I'll say the one and only official Durga cafe, which is famous for their cold coffee as well as other food items.

It's been 7 years that I'm visiting this cafe. Like since there coffee was for just Rs.9. Their taste is same. There is usually wait for 10 minutes even though they have huge seating.

For few dishes, you will find prices are quiet higher, specially for all types of Dosa, but again they taste to it.

Everything here is good I won't say best but it's good. Specially misal and bhurji. But they have to take care of the hygiene which is major issue now as this cafe is full of customers everyday. This is basically hangout place for MIT students. Their cold...

I went to this place almost after 6 months, wherein i ordered the basic cold coffee, chicken Schezwan noodles, veg cheese burger, peri peri fries, pav bhaji out of which the entire order disappointed me very badly. The quantity isn't the same i wouldn't say at every other durga cafe but the one which is located in Baner (sus gaon) wasn't that great.

And since i wasn't that happy with the food that i ordered i won't be posting those pictures too.

But the only thing that makes my good is their evergreen cold coffee which was and is the best. It's the same as i had it for the very first time.
