Digambar Hall And Lawns — Attraction in Pune

The hall is wonderful, the location is upscale, wonderful parking space and courteous staff. However, as Indian festivities tend to become messy, these guys have no acceptance for certain things. For example, we were not allowed to have rangoli on steps and certain locations because it damages the tiles/granite flooring. Secondly, we were not allowed to use flower petals because it created a mess. Even though the staff was courteous, the person incharge was a typical Punekar - rigid, disrespectful and arrogant. Plus we were not informed of these restrictions beforehand.

We had been here for a thread ceremony. Hall is good but food quality served is just so so, idlis served were like Anna's selling on his bicycle,rice contents in the idlis was much more than daal. So, idli looked like rice cup - not at all spongy , & service was too conservative - waiters were standing with hands tight but did not serve though our plates were empty. The supervisor was asking from disatnce should I bring any ? And after asking him he signals to waiters to bring up. Seems cost cutting attitude on the part...

This place is in the outskirts of Kothrud and good for the 20 to 30 people The guests and ambience is ok and average If under budget range and small get together is required and is low cost expense occasion,can opt for this as one of the place to celebrate small sized birthday party ,but big no for the celebration or parties where guests are more than 30 as congestion will happen and ambience is too average ,then only recommended for to have any better alternate in my opinion as in this area multiple options are...
