Cravings ? Satisfied - YES ? Its obvious man ā¦. People can literally know the fragrance of their shawarma from miles. š the so far best in town for their shawarma roll. They have a nice variety of shawarma on their menu card . People usually go for their shawarma with cheese or schezwan . This joint is on the main lane which leads to the MIT College campus , Kothrud. This is a very famous joint in the area and one of the oldest cafe as well. One can easily find it and very easy to access for all . People come here specially for their shawarma , on top of that ⦠the place has a very small and cozy seating arrangement for group of 2-4 people . Their prices are also so pocket friendly that it keeps a challenge in the market . The quality of food served is obviously very good . The quantity is also huge , one can easily get the best appetite under 100. Suggestion - They need to keep a wash basin for hand wash . And also some tissue boxes over the tables they have for seating arrangements . Also, they need to work upon their food delivery and order taking process ⦠as its too time consuming and time taking. And its no where written that its a self service so people often order and sit over the tables without knowing that they have to submit the bills at any other shawarma counter . And then get to know that we had to submit the bill coupons .
So that was a bit irritating and frustrating . Overall a good experience because...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent for the shawarma and lassi, was absolutely no disappointed. We tried the cheese shawarma, special shawarma, and normal shawarma with extra mayo along with mango, strawberry and icecream lassi.
I would personally recommend the special or cheese shawarma the most along with the mango lassi but do try everything to find out what works best for you. The regular shawarma comes with veggies (cabbages) and if you want a fully meat one then go for the special shawarma. Icecream lassi didn't live up to my expectations - the combo sounds good but it's just vanilla icecream in lassi.
Aside from the food we had a little problem getting comfortable seating but they have done a great job in the limited space available so kudos to them.
Note - DO mind that there are two outlets of the same location side by side separated by one shop. Some say the taste and quality differ but my friend who has tried both said they pretty much tasted the same. Both of them have slightly different menus so take a look before...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWithout a doubt one of my favourite Shwarma in Pune. The place is located near MIT college and is often very busy with college students. As the name suggests they not only serve great Lassi but the most amazing & tastiest Shawarma. Everything is just perfect...the chicken, the sauce!! Their regular and cheese Shawarma are to die for!! Along with that their Salad Shawarma and Plate Shawarma are also super delicious! They also serve tempting mojitos. Pair your Shawarma with 'Brain Fresher Mojito' or 'Mouth bursting chilli Mojito'. You won't regret it!! It's a small place, but outdoor as well as indoor seating is available. Indoor seating is upstairs. The place is veryy crowded in the evening, so sometimes you might not get a table, but the service is very fast, so you'll not have to wait much long. The staff is also...
