CAFÉ PETER – BANER #foodtasting Café peter is a newly opened café in baner some 2 months back. Its located where grillicious was. So, its very prominent location opp rasta café. Its one of the pet friendly cafes in baner. The vibes of this café is supper positive. We were invited for the food tasting arranged by Shoeb. So as we arrived at café peters we were welcomed by darshana who is the owner with her 2 cute cattos.. What we had:- Mocktails Bubble gum iced tea : reminded me of boomer chewing gum n went into complete nostalgia. #highlyrecomended
Salted caramel popcorn shake : this was one of the finest mocktail/shake I could ever have. The blend of salted caramel went so well in the milk. Reminded me of a place where they spike it n give. Even the children would love it. #highlyrecomended
Bubble gum oreo shake : frnkly speaking I don’t like combining my oreo shake with any thing. The natural taste of oreo is great for me. But as they mixed it with bubble gum flavour dint go well with me. I just tasted it and bubblegum owerpowered the oreo taste. #cantryonce
Water melon mojito : showstealer. One word I can describe. Fresh watermelon pieces with sugar syrup n sprite/soda. Mindblowing and a must have in summers. #highlyrecomended
Cucumber iced tea : frankly speaking this is the first time I had cucumber iced tea. Though it tasted good I found the sugar syrup a bit in excess. Conveyed it to the management immediately. As this was a new launch, they sure took it positively, I hope. But it’s a refreshing drink for the coming summers.
Mains:- Tempura prawns : Sushi is a traditional Japanese dish of prepared vinegared rice, usually with some sugar and salt, accompanying a variety of ingredients , such as seafood, often raw, and vegetables. Just fyi who does not know. Here in café peters we had was prawns sushi which went really well. Normally the fish in this is raw but thankfully it was cooked prawns with veggies which went really well with soya sauce. #highlyrecomended
Chicken bulgogi gimbap : Gimbap is a Korean dish made from cooked rice and other ingredients that are rolled in gim—dried sheets of seaweed—and served in bite-sized slices. Pl its not sushi but looks like one though. We had was chicken bulgogi. It was gud for the first timers.
Chicken bacon egg cheese bagel sandwich : bagel is something I miss thoroughly out here. It was my staple nashta when I was abroad. So I was elated to see bagel sandwich here. Well prepared.
Honey glazed chicken bagel sandwich : this was average. Though tasted gud I found chicken a bit less. Nevertheless it was over in a jiffy.
Cheese chilli jalepino bagel sandwich : this was a showstealer. Perfect amt of cheese chilli combo. A simple one but really tasty.
Eggs benedict : Eggs Benedict is a common American breakfast or brunch dish with , a poached egg, and hollandaise sauce as it was served here. Loved the hollandaise sauce but not a fan or sunny side up eggs. If u love sunny side up this is for u.
Pepproni pizza : cant say much. Just like any other pizza with a thin crust. Just if I could advice them to increase the pepproni toppings would be better.
Mac n cheese with gochujang sauce : Gochujang or red chili paste is a savory, sweet, and spicy fermented condiment, popular in Korean cooking. So when mac n cheese was combined with the gochujang sauce it was a killer combo. It gave a spicy twist to bland mac & cheese.. #highlyrecomended
Desserts Chocolate truffle pastery : one of my all time favs. This can really never go wrong. Dark choco pastry with dark choco ganache is always a heaven.
Spider donout : plain dounut infused with melted dark chocolate n dipped in white chocolate. Wht else do we need. A spectacular combo for...

Beverages:
Watermelon mojito - This refreshing mojito was made well along with fresh watermelon, fresh mint and lime. I'd highly recommend to try this out.
Bubblegum iced tea - As i'm not a fan of any iced tea's. Thought of giving it a try & surprisingly it was good. The taste of the bubblegum reminded me of my childhood days.
Salted caramel popcorn shake - This was something exciting and was trying it out for the first time & i must say the sweet and salty combo of the shake was very well balanced.
Bubble gum oreo shake - Staggering combo of oreo n bubble gum. It was perfect with ample amount of sweetness in the shake. I personally liked the taste of the shake and I'd recommend to finish it off quickly before it melts down completely.
Con panna - You'll love this beauty filled with shot of dark espresso with a delightful dollop of whipped cream. Totally recommended. 👌
