Curry On The Roof Restobar — Restaurant in Pune

It was quite a surprise to find the former Curry on the Roof in a new incarnation as Bamboo House (not to be confused with another restaurant of the same name on J M Road) -- and the former Hotel Royalty, which houses the restaurant, had become an OYO property.

Fortunately, the original ethnic ambience remains, though with a few tweaks. So too the yummy menu offerings, now with a Mangalorean touch. I think you can almost inhale and savor our choices from my pictures. We began with super nachos and masala uttapam. Then came paneer and vegetable stew with coconut milk along with tandoori roti and garlic naan. Topping it all off was a sizzling chocolate brownie. If there were championships for height of sizzle and length of time thereof, this brownie would win by a long shot!

The bill for our threesome came to Rs 1,270 with tax -- something of a bargain because the main course was ample enough to take home portions for lunch the following day.

I don't know how people are giving 4 stars to this restaurant.its a part of oyo hotel i guess. Starting from entrance nobody is there for valet parking. Very calm place. interior is old style which I liked but overall vibes are not very good. Even in the restaurant there wasn't any guest even we had to look for server.
