Kannu Ki Chai (DP ROAD) — Restaurant in Pune

Kannu Ki Chai has become trending tea shop in and around Pune with there multiple outlet accross the city. Recently got invited from this new outlet and savoured some good snacks here.

Let see what was hit and miss, Cheese poppers, it was good in taste. Slight crisp from out with cheesy mild spicy fillings inside with sweetness from corn will recommend to try this.

Tandoori fries was good in taste, seems to be little lack in tandoor flavour but tandoori sauce goes best with crispy fries can give try for sure.

Grilled Bun Maska was perfect duo with kadak adrak wali chai. Bun was soft, mild sweet with good amount of butter. Must try here.

Tried the aloo paratha and pav bhaji both taste good, but somewhere paratha stuffing was less while in pav bhaji vegetables need to be more smashed. Overall taste good with little.

This is small outlet with few seating arrangement as usually I noticed most of the office crowd for which this can be good for chai, quick bites and much...

They say, 'Life is like a cup of tea, it's all in how you make it'. Well, life is for you to figure out, but 'tea' is certainly the best at Kannu's! 🙂

It was a beautiful evening we spent at Kannu ki chai on DP road. Before I speak about Chai and food at Kannu's, what I admire is the thoughtfullness behind choosing the location. Chai is always better enjoyed with greenery around.

We eat with our eyes first. Isn't it? We started with Signuature sandwitch, it was a feast to the eyes and the nose. It was indeed a tasty treat.

As die hard fans of garlic bread, we were keen to taste it at Kannu's and it was 10/10!! Loved it❤️ We also enjoyed a 'zatka wadapav' which was a interesting twist to all-time favourite wadapav. And of course we kept the best at the last - a perfect cup of adrak chai with bun-maska. And guess what - we had a lovely chat with branch owner Mr.Gaurang to accompany our meal. So I must say, this was an evening well-spent at Kannu ki chai...

Kannu ki chai just like the name suggests they do serve some amazing chai but also they have a vast menu beyond chai also . In the vast menu they have items like pavbhaji , sandwiches , pizza , fries , a lot of snack items. I specifically tried their signature sandwich one of their special ones on the menu , cheesy jalapeño poppers , grilled bun Maska ( I have tried the Normal bun Maska at various places but tried this grilled one for the first time , tandoori pizza , aloo paratha , pav Bhaji and yes mainly their chai. Every single dish was good in taste and must try . The popper’s had good amount of cheese in it and an amazing flavour . The grilled bun Maska was crispy outside and softer inside .
