Food is amazing.. chicken Thalassery biryani is a must try item and it just cannot get better.. blend of flavours of masala with the jeerakasala rice is just perfectly balanced.. Fish curry meals is also amazing.. their fish curry gravy with meals is one of the best.. fish fry given with meals is also good.. Mackeral was given.. we also tried chicken varuthu arachathu with porotta.. That was amazing too.. and we tried chicken kizhi porotta.. that is also good.. and we tried amazing lime soda and classic falooda too!! Food is just amazing and at a very reasonable cost.. a must try for kerala cuisine.. But waiting time is tooo long and not properly managed.. people coming later also might get a seat earlier depending on the number of people in the group! When we went for onam sadhya we waited almost 2.5hrs but we thought it was because of onam.. now also on a Sunday we had to wait for 1.5hrs.. had lunch at 4pm was so frustrated! After repeated requests to serve Sadhya finally it was answered as it is over you can have something else. It was most horrible dining experience in my life so far. Management didn't have courtesy to communicate it to any of us while we were waiting for it. As it's a festive season and almost 90% crowd was having Sadya it was obvious that other people waiting are for Sadya as well. Management didn't have courtesy to communicate the same to others who haven't been allotted table as well. We faced challenges for finding open restaurant for lunch at 3.30-4 pm and finally settled for snacks. Recommend you to consider waiting time of over 1 hour plus rash behaviour from management. They are not concerned about the service part. Especially in Indian festivals people see to it that guests are properly attended. The restaurant serves a combination of traditional Kerala food and food using Arabic methods of cooking. These kind of items ( mandi and Al faham)are seen in the Indian (Kerala) restaurants in the Gulf countries. We had the Chicken Roast, Fish Pollichathu, Chicken Pollichathu, and Parotta. The chicken roast was very good and just the right amount of spicy. The fish and chicken pollichathu were both very good, a bit spicy for me. And the parottas were soft and flaky.
