Royal Baking Co. — Restaurant in Pune

I had ordered a dark chocolate cake for my husband’s birthday in July from Royal Baking Co. Even though the design was well made, however I was left in shock with the cheap tactics applied in final presentation- the golden balls which were supposed to be of edible chocolate were of THERMOCOL, there were wooden pointy sticks inside the cake and most importantly the PURPLE COLOUR OF THE CAKE CAME OFF ON OUR HANDS. I think the owner and chef need to go back to baking school and learn that the basics of serving food to customers is that EVERYTHING in the dish must be SAFE TO CONSUME and EDIBLE. I had to serve this cake to small kids also invited at the party and was left totally embarrassed. The colour didn’t wash off from our hands after multiple washes. Just by replicating the exterior design by a 60% doesn’t mean you serve a poor quality cheap cake. Next time you take an order please ensure it goes to a learned and experienced CHEF and not the ART and CRAFT TEAM. The worst experience ever of ordering a customised cake that also after paying a high price for it. Please never order from here especially if you are serving this...

This was my first order with Pune Royal Baking Co. and I must appreciate Gaurang Thakkar and his team's efforts.

The cake was particularly for our boss's surprise birthday party. I was a bit confused as it was my first cake order with them so I was calling them like 5-6 times in a day followed by lots of text messages (out of stress and self pressure as it was my idea to get cake done from them). But they were so polite and answered so calmly everytime.

Now comes the delivery day, the cake was so huge as it was for 150-200 people. The delivery was completely satisfied and they handled it so neatly.

Most important the taste. The cake was super delicious, everyone liked it slot. It was fresh fruit cake. They used minimal sugar which we liked the most. Cake was so moist and soft. Whipped cream used in it was not less and not more.

Overall a good experience. Thumbs up for their service. Keep it up Gaurang...

Found this online when I was looking for bakers in Pune. Wanted a cake for a friend’s birthday.. ordered for a chocolate truffle cake with a hidden message.. shared insta videos for reference to give a full understanding of the idea. I was given full assurance that it’s gonna be perfect. The cake looked neat when I saw it first, but the placement of the message itself was off, after the hidden strip of the message was pulled, the other message below it was out too, I am very disappointed as the whole essence of the cake off with this message gone.. the cake was okay, was different from the regular chocolate truffle cakes that I’ve eaten.. Also, the colour is too strong, it stains the fingers and teeth.. I definitely don’t think that’s good. Hope they work on their designs and use better colours for...
