Ganga Nebula Housing Society — Local services in Pune

I have lived in this society as a tenant for more than 2 years now, below is the honest review - Pros - Quite, calm place with decent green cover. Guards are mostly good, this society earlier used mygate and now uses nobrokerhood for approval of visitors entry to the society. Decent parking space available. Flats are huge when compared to current size, I lived in 3BHK duplex flat withh family (carpet size around 1800 sq ft). Cons - Society does not treat tenants well, we were not added to the society whatsapp group which had updates regarding water cuts and electricity cuts even after multiple requests. For a very long time, no maintenance activity was undertaken as the society did not have an AGM, and election for chairman and secretary were delayed, this led to many basic things being delayed, for e.g. we wanted to upgrade to Airtel optic fiber due to multiple disruptions in wifi connection and we were all working from home, but since AGM was delayed, society was not able to approve the upgrade for almost a year. Most of the people in the society are rude and snobbish, (typical ultra and uber rich mentality and behaviour of owning the entire world), thus we avoided...

Security Guards : Horrible behaviour from security guards even though I was living in the society for more than 1.5 years they would ask me where are you going ? if I came after 10 pm. Even troubled my sibling once. Security guard asked me to bring society issued card to allow him inside society.

Society management : Please be prepared to keep your HRs phone number handy as lady will not trust documents of your employment she would call your HR and then she will give you permission from society to enter. They did not inform me about no broker app I learnt it from security guards that we have to use it. Even when I left society i have to reach out to them 4 times before they remove me from app.

Rates: Some of owners will charge you at same rate as other societies in viman nagar however other societies are new this one is pretty old.

Construction: There is construction work going on which will continue to be there till 2026 imo so avoid that...

Worst society for bachelors and spinsters.They treat you as PG and not a resident.They charge you for society entry and ID card fee which is absolutely non sense.In case you need to call your friend and family you have to take permission from society office. Pets are not welcome here. They complaint if they bark.Beware of the security guards here.If you happen to call a male or female friend after 10 without permission even in case of emergency ,they ask for bribe.Parcel can also be not delivered at door step post 10pm. The smell of food from your home will also make them suspicious.The lady chairperson of the society(although with a tattoo) is also very narrow minded.There has been 2 incidents of attempted suicide by bachelor tenants in the society.The people here are living in a...
