If you are staying in PCMC then Shehnaz Fish Center at Khadaki is go to place for Fish and Seafood. Variety of Fish and Freshness is guaranteed. It is ok even you don't have much knowledge about how to identify/choose fresh fish because considering crowd at Shehnaz Fish Center, they always has fresh stock available. If you don't wanna choose from the stock displayed outside, you can ask "Chacha" (owner) standing dehind the desk. He will provide you another one from stock kept inside. Chacha and all his staff, everybody is very helpful. Once you choose fish or seafood, you will get it clean and perfectly cut (according to type of fish you buy) and neatly pack. Card payment is accepted. Complete customer satisfaction. And more importantly, though this is Fish center, this place is quite clean compared to other shops. It has been more than 6 years we are buying Fish from Shehnaz Fish center and we were never disappointed or regret driving 10 odd kilometers one way to Khadaki just to buy Fish. They have all sort of Sea Water and River Water fish, Prawns, Crabs etc. You can buy variety of fish at any range starting from 200 ₹ KG to 1800 ₹ KG.

Varieties of fish is praise worthy. But the attitude of the staffs keeps degrading day by day. I know i cant expect too much out of Macchiwalas, but their prime customers (85%) are people who work in MNCs and have their own business. I have seen this store grow in revenue but diminish in customer satisfaction in the period of 3 years. But olease go there once, you will find lots of good fish.

If you are a sea food lover and living near aundh or khadki then this place is definitely visit. This shop is been there for very long time now and run by it's second generation owners. The owners of this place are polite and helpful and have good knowledge of fish breeds and variety. Also the availability of choice and spread is very large as compared to other outlets in area.

Today I went to buy fish from Shenaz Fish center (in Khadki, Pune) and specifically asked the shopowner whether the quality is good. He reassured me. After coming home, had to throw away the entire purchase of prawn as those were rotten. I could not check in the shop as they took order outside the shop and gave me the fish packed. I trusted them as I have been buying fish for a long time. Looks like that trust is misplaced now. Please be aware. It is not safe to buy fish from there in the current situation and specially when you cannot check the fish before buying.
