Disappointing Experience at Boho Restaurant
Overhyped and Underwhelming I recently visited the Boho Restaurant, and unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. Given the trendy vibe and high prices, I expected an exceptional dining experience. Instead, I was left feeling underwhelmed.
Food: A Letdown The menu read like a laundry list of trendy dishes, but the execution fell flat. The flavors were uninspired, and the presentation lacked creativity. The food quality was not just a minor issue; it was a significant disappointment. I was particularly surprised given the restaurant's previous reputation. It seems the recent change in chefs has not been a success.
New Chef, New Problems The change in chefs appears to have disrupted the kitchen's rhythm. The dishes I ordered lacked the finesse and attention to detail that I've come to expect from a restaurant of this caliber. It's clear the new chef is still finding their footing, but it's disappointing that the quality has suffered as a result.
Ambiance: Trying Too Hard The "Boho" theme felt like a superficial attempt to be fashionable rather than a genuine expression of style. The décor was eclectic but lacked cohesion, making the space feel disjointed and awkward.
Service: Inconsistent The service was hit-or-miss. Some staff members were friendly and attentive, while others seemed overwhelmed and inattentive.
Value for Money: Poor Given the prices, I expected a top-notch dining experience. Unfortunately, Boho Restaurant came up short. The food was overpriced, and the overall experience felt like a rip-off.
Conclusion Unless Boho Restaurant can get its culinary act together and stabilize the kitchen, I would advise potential diners to look elsewhere. The change in chefs seems to have been a misstep, and the current state of the restaurant does not justify the premium prices.

Ambience: The ambience is definitely one of the highlights—stylish, cozy, and thoughtfully done. Great spot if you're looking for a relaxed hangout or a place to unwind with friends.
Food & Drinks: Here's what I tried:
Peri-Peri Fries – 7/10 Crispy and well-seasoned. A solid starter to share.
Veg Tacos with Avocado & Salsa – 6/10 Decent, but lacked a punch in flavour. The filling could have been more balanced.
Seasonal Vegetable Cheese Club Sandwich – 10/10 This was the star of the show. Served in a croissant-style sandwich—flaky, buttery, and packed with flavour. I’ve never had something quite like it elsewhere. Highly recommended!
Espresso Matcha & Nutella Matcha – 4/10 Unfortunately, this was a letdown. The drinks were mostly ice (around 70%), with very little actual matcha or Nutella flavour. Wouldn’t recommend—there are far better matcha options in Pune.
Alfredo Pasta – 4/10 The pasta tasted average and didn’t stand out. We requested extra mushrooms and were surprised by the additional ₹200 charge (on top of a ₹400 dish). That felt a bit steep for a single topping.
Other Notes: They usually have a ₹1000 cover charge on weekends, but it was waived on request, which we appreciated.
No service charge is added to the bill, which is a welcome practice.
Overall Verdict: A lovely place in terms of ambience and vibe. Some food items shine (especially the croissant sandwich), but a few others could use improvement. Worth a visit if you’re exploring new cafes in the city—just be mindful of the cover charges and ask about...
Read moreDon't prefer this restaurant at all...Trust me guys they are Fooling people just by uploading amazing photos on Google and not sure who is giving these 4 nd 5 star ratings.Below are the points before considering this to ruin ur weekend literally
They have ground floor which is too compact and 1st floor they will not allow you to even enter. Upon asking the reason they said they will open it after 9pm which was denied again stating we don't much crowd today so we won't be opening it...total bullshit... I mean what about the customers who are already sitting there...so they don't have any value since they are already in
There is no light guys I mean seriously at one point I need to switch on my phone torch to check what is the dish that I ordered actually looks like... Again they gave bakwas wala reason that it's boho theme so it will be dim light.. R u serious????
Most important thing is after these many drawbacks u won't be able to leave this place coz they will take mandatory cover charges of 1000/- per person... Its a trap guys...
Coming to food options, very limited specially for vegetarian people and i couldn't eat coz i was not able to see the food on my table due to no light 🤣
Still if you want to visit once then try to reach there before sunset so that you will get atleast some pictures of the vibe...Once dark you won't be able to...
