Visited Thikana on Tuesday for lunch.
Our order
Beverages Melon Down Pineapple Punch
After a long motorcycle ride in scorching heat these drinks were very refreshing. Melon Down was like tasting summer in a glass: juicy watermelon chunks mingling with aromatic basil, zesty lemon, all fizzing up with Sprite. It was a symphony of flavors that'll transport you to a sunny paradise with each sip. Pineapple Punch was a tropical fiesta! Sweet pineapple, fresh mint, zesty lime, and kiwi puree blend with tangy lemonade for a vibrant explosion of flavors that'll transport you to a sunny beach with just one sip.
Main course Paneer Pasanda
Paneer Pasanda was pure indulgence! Tender cottage cheese, stuffed with a blend of aromatic spices and dry fruits, fried in butter, and served in a luscious gravy. It was a royal feast packed with irresistible flavors.
Breads Butter Roti Garlic Butter Naan
Butter Roti was good, but unlike my friend, I'm a fan of Garlic Butter Naan. It's my go-to every time I visit a restaurant. The balance was perfect, the garlic, butter, and bread melded seamlessly, with neither overpowering the other.
Speaking of atmosphere, the restaurant features a unique decor with playing cards adorning the walls and ceiling, creating an eclectic ambiance. There are two seating areas, one outside near the main entrance, right by the road, and another inside with a cozy atmosphere. The bar has a retro vibe, enhanced by light bulbs hanging from the ceiling. Outside, the seating area is equipped with pipes that serve the purpose of cooling and moisturizing the air, along with fans to keep it comfortable, though the chairs are a bit uncomfortable to sit on.
Very good service was provided by the staff.
There is no dedicated parking for the restaurant, so we had to search for a parking space.
Edit: I went there for the second time during peak hours, specifically at night. This time, finding a parking space was very challenging. The atmosphere is completely different at night. You can have refreshments or drinks at the bar counter while waiting for a table to become available; in our case, it took a...

The ambiance of the place is significantly enhanced by the presence of a live singer, whose performances add a touch of beauty and serenity to the evening, making it a perfect spot for both casual dinners and special occasions.
One of the standout offerings at Thikana is the tower beer, which is not only economical but also a great choice for groups looking to enjoy a relaxed evening together. The beer, coupled with the restaurant's lively yet comfortable setting, creates an inviting atmosphere that encourages guests to linger longer and enjoy their time.
Food-wise, Thikana excels with its diverse menu, particularly with its platters and prawn dishes, which come highly recommended. The platters are a feast for the senses, offering a variety of flavors and textures that cater to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian preferences. The prawns, on the other hand, are a must-try for seafood lovers, perfectly cooked and seasoned to highlight the freshness and quality of the ingredients.

Read moreOverall a quite good experience at FC road Thikana it was my first visit , food taste and their services were good. But they don't have many options for cocktails and mocktails it's very less. Rest everything was good and will visit their other branches.
Edit for my 2nd visit :-During my second visit to this establishment, I was rather disappointed with the experience. Upon arriving and finding the place virtually empty, my friend and I kindly requested to sit at a table meant for four to have some extra space. To our surprise, the staff denied our request, citing a policy that forbids seating two people at a four-person table. This seemed rather inflexible and unwelcoming.
To add to our dissatisfaction, when we ordered our food, I already had water with me, yet the waiter brought a chilled water bottle to our table without our request. Not only did we not use the bottled water, but we were also shocked to find it on our bill, with a charge attached. When we raised this issue with the staff, they not only refused to rectify the mistake but also displayed a rather impolite attitude.
Overall, the rigid seating policy and the charging for unordered items left a bitter taste in our mouths, making this visit less enjoyable than expected. We hope that the restaurant can improve its customer service and be more accommodating to patrons...
