Gave a new Yonex NanoRay 4i badminton racquet for stringing. Provided a Victor VS 850 string as well. Informed Champion Sports staff to maintain adequate string tension. Racquet received with new strings overnight. The racquet broke mid play while returning a serve. The racquet broke precisely where the strings are tightened. Racquet not dropped or didn't touch the ground as the string broke. Champion Sports strings perhaps 100 racquets per week. But its unfortunate that despite getting genuine equipment both in terms of racquet and strings, this happened. Store's stringing service may be adequate for school kids or gully badminton, but definitely a couple of notches below for court play. No feedback taken if offensive or defensive player or precise string tension needed while receiving racquet. Gave another racquet to another store for stringing with better results.
