Baba chicken Jalandhar — Restaurant in Punjab

I had a terrible experience at Baba Chicken, and I feel compelled to share it. The staff here seriously need to be trained in basic customer service and respect. I witnessed something truly unacceptable—an elderly couple was mistreated and spoken to in an extremely rude manner by the staff. Instead of assisting them politely, the employees behaved arrogantly, showing no empathy or courtesy.

This level of disrespect is shocking, especially in a hospitality business. If they cannot treat their customers with dignity, they don’t deserve anyone’s hard-earned money. The food might be decent, but the way they treat people is absolutely disgusting. I would never recommend this place to anyone who values basic respect and good service.

This place is too overhyped. Does not live upto the "Baba's" name. There are better places to go out for a North Indian style meal in Jalandhar. The mutton was undercooked and too chewy. The staff was untrained and rude. Upon paying through Zomato Gold, they argued that they haven't received the payment. Even upon showing the payment proof screenshot to the cashier Ajay he kept on insisting otherwise. He literally said "Sir apne payment ki hai, aap baat karo Zomato se. Humein toh nai ayi". Even upon showing him the conversation with Zomato support, he was extremely rude and unprofessional. Will surely not visit this restaurant again. We did not even get a tax invoice for the meal. A restaurant at heart of Jalandhar. Ambience is okay. You can enjoy your meal with a good dose of music songs being played on big LED TV. You must also note that there are only handful of space to park your vehicle outside. The street connecting it to the main road is also narrow. However if you like to get good dose of chicken then you are heading to right place. You can dine alone or bring group like family, friends or colleagues.
