Parkash Bakery — Restaurant in Punjab

There was a time (about 14yrs back), parkash bakery was the place then, for most variety, hygiene and owner sitting at counter, giving utmost respect to customers. I remember finishing school and buying sandwiches on the way home, like it was yesterday. Whenever someone had a bday, cake had to be from parkash bakery. Or the times when I used to pester my nana ji to get cream rolls from parkash bakery.

Sadly that time is done. Certainly parkash bakery and the cake house still has the most variety, but hygiene seems to be an after though, baked breads on shelves, missing expiry date labels are a common thing. Not having fresh bread and biscuits is also the norm now. And the customer service at the counter, wow just wow, can a shop get so low, I thought not, but here we are.

Sadly all good things in Model Town have come to an end and parkash bakery is no different, it is now just another overpriced shop, rather than the famous corner bakery that we all used to visit when...
