I recently dined at Bikanerwala, and while the overall experience had its merits, there were certain aspects that left me with mixed feelings. The ambiance was good reflecting the restaurant's commitment to providing a comfortable dining atmosphere. However, I must share an incident that did impact my experience negatively. Upon receiving the Rajma Chawal, I noticed that they were served cold. Concerned about the temperature, I brought it to the attention of our server. Regrettably, the response was unexpected. The server mentioned that we should have started eating earlier, implying that the cooling of the dish was our fault. Despite the initial disappointment, I appreciated that the matter was resolved when I requested assistance again. The staff promptly brought warm rice, which was a relief. However, the initial reaction regarding the cold Rajma Chawal was unexpected and somewhat disheartening. There was a similar issue with the main course, emphasizing that improvements are needed across the entire spectrum of the meal. In terms of improvement, I would suggest that the restaurant pays closer attention to the temperature of the dishes served. It's essential to maintain the warmth of the main course to ensure a delightful dining experience for all the diners. In conclusion, while Bikanerwala offers a pleasant dining environment and generally good service, there is room for improvement in ensuring the consistency of dish temperatures. I hope this feedback contributes to enhancing the overall dining experience for...
Read moreLovely thalli and good portions. But what ruined my experience was I ordered a drink at the start and it didn't arrive till I finished my meal and asked twice for it. Then we ordered tea and asked for it three times. 20 minutes later there still was no tea. We got NO tea!!!
The guy behind the food counter kept shouting for Rohit and telling him and one other staff off. This is not very professional.
I could hear some other people around who ordered using the online app and their orders were hot being done either.
In the end we went downstairs to pay the bill and asked to speak to the manager. Guess what he was doing? Making tea!!!! We asked him how can you make customer wait for over 30 minutes for a cup of tea. He said the waiter got someone's order wrong and he was sorting that out. We said that's not our problem as a manager he should have the staff to serve customers efficiently. The manager didn't seem too bothered at us so we just left. Considering how big brand this company is it's very rubbish service in this branch. Two waiters running up and down continuously trying to sort orders while the manager makes tea.!!! Hire more staff and learn to speak to staff respectfully. Staff...
Read moreI'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this Indian sweet shop. We ordered a substantial amount of sweets, exceeding ₹2000, but the quality was appalling. The gulab jamun was incredibly dry, reminiscent of something that had been sitting on the shelf for months. To make matters worse, the rasgullas they provided were not even freshly made, but rather Bikano tinned ones that were stale. What's even more unacceptable is the poor service we received. The person attending to us was completely distracted, chatting on their phone while processing our bill. It took an astonishing 30 minutes just to complete the billing process. Given the subpar quality of the sweets and the abysmal service, I firmly believe they should offer a refund for the unacceptable items. Instead, they seem to be trying to pawn off stale products on unsuspecting customers. Needless to say, I would not recommend this sweet...
