Chilli 65 — Restaurant in Punjab

Ordered Veg chowmin and Rarha chicken through Zomato for some guests yesterday. I didn't receive the veg chowmin at all. Called the restaurant many times but the calls remained unanswered. As for rarha chicken there was no salt and even spices were missing. I myself had to set it bby adding salt and spices. Just imagine my situation in front of my guests when the order is received incomplete and whatever I received I had to almost cook it myself. Really really bad experience and mental torture. I ordered only because I read some good reviews, but I guess they were all fake and paid reviews. Will not order again from this outlet again. Replying to your response, there are two points Firstly, I received one plastic bag packed properly that contained chicken in two containers along with breads and chutney and onion. The bag was full with these items and had no capacity to hold another container or packet. If the chowmin was packed in a separate bag, it never reached me and the rider told me that only one packet was handed over to him. Whosoever was at fault, it was not me. Further, I called many times and when I got no reply, I had to contact Zomato, but they just gave me the only option of a refund which I had to accept.

Secondly, being a regular cook at my home as a hobby, I know the difference between no spices and mild spices (spices as in ingredients not hot spicy). It was totally bland as if keema was roasted in a pan and the roasted chicken pieces were added, just forgot to add any spices and even salt. Three persons pointed that by just taking one bite. Then I had to set it by adding the spices and I myself was surprised as to how much salt and other things I had to add. And we all like the spices on the milder side. And I am very frequent in ordering. I don't really put bad reviews unless it is a really bad experience. In almost a decade of ordering food almost weekly, I think it is only the third such review and I don't feel good about posting it. If you had replied to my calls, maybe this wouldn't have...

I am mentioning right in the beginning of my review that no other place, I repeat, no other place serves better Paneer Tikka butter masala than this restaurant. I'm considering moving to Chandigarh for their Paneer tikka butter Masala..lol. But seriously, it's very good.. We were staying in a hotel nearby and searching on zomato for ordering our Dinner when we ordered food from this restaurant.We ordered garlic naans ,Paneer Tikka butter Masala, mix veg and dal makhni along with laccha paranthas and rotis..This place is strongly recommended for its north Indian food.. food quality is average packing is also average but the main point is i ordered spring roll it took them 45 minutes to prepare only 1 order and mayonnaise they provide was very less so asked to provide 1 small extra pouch they clearly denied and told that it will be chargeable this is how they treat their regular customers so today was the day when it happened and the last time because i am not going to visit this restaurant ever again people i recommend please do not visit this restaurant.
