Whispering Willows — Restaurant in Punjab

The Restaurant service and food quality was excellent. Location is Best. Furniture is best. Cleanliness was there. But, they provide Single coffee mug in a double room. Fan regulator was not working. No exhaust fan in bathroom. No hand towels in the bathroom. Single dental kit. And the worst part is, car parking. Me, TsMadaan, aged 67 years, and my wife, Pinky Madaan, age 65 years, checked in at 4 pm on 21st May, 2025 and went to attend a function nearby. Returned to hotel at 12.35 AM, midnight. Were asked to park the car in the basement parking ourselves. And there is no lift in basement and you need to walk back from the ramp. We requested security staff to allow us to park near the porch but they didn’t allow us to. We requested to understand our age but they were not listening to us. The man at the front desk showed his inability to cooperate. He asked us to meet the Manager at daytime. It was worst experience never happened in my whole life. I avoid giving negative feedback but compelled to do this time. While checking out, the manager asked us about the stay, we explained everything. He was courteous and polite and listened to us patiently and assured us to take care in future. 2 stars only coz of ambience, peace and food. Myself and a friend ordered Veg Biryani among other things. The presentation of the veg biryani was unique n the rice tasted good as well. I guess that's their only highlight of the day. However I was disappointed with tea we ordered. Not the taste, a regular masala chai, but the exorbitant price they charged for it. Bad decision. Not justifiable! So overall an ok experience. Best time to visit is around noon - barely anyone around. Once in a while it's a good place to hang out with friends/family but you're better off ordering only snacks/something light. I recently visited a restaurant that had a great ambiance, especially at night, but unfortunately, the food did not live up to the high prices. While the atmosphere and decor were impressive, the quality and taste of the food were not up to the mark.

The menu was extensive, with a wide range of options to choose from, but the dishes were significantly overpriced for the taste and quality they offered. The presentation of the food was excellent, but it failed to deliver on the taste and freshness.

In conclusion, while the ambiance and setting of the restaurant were impressive, the food was not worth the exorbitant prices charged. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone if you going there...
