Haldiramâs at Ranjit Avenue is a lively and well-run spot that offers a quick, satisfying Indian dining experience. Itâs often buzzing with activity, but the service remains efficient and organized, making it easy to grab a meal even during peak hours.
The food menu features a wide variety of street-style Indian dishesâfrom crispy chaats and piping hot dosas to flavorful thalis and North Indian classics. Everything is freshly prepared, nicely presented, and full of authentic taste. The kitchen keeps up well with the pace of the crowd, and orders come out surprisingly fast without compromising quality.
One of the highlights here is the dedicated snacks and sweets section, which provides a vast selection of traditional Indian namkeens and mithai. Whether youâre looking for spicy bhujia, crunchy sev, or rich, melt-in-the-mouth sweets like rasgulla, gulab jamun, or kaju katli, thereâs something to please every palate. Itâs a great place to pick up take-home treats or gifts as well.
The dining area is clean and efficiently managed. Tables are cleared and cleaned promptly, which helps accommodate the constant flow of customers. It adds to the overall smooth and pleasant experience.
Overall, this Haldiramâs branch combines the charm of classic Indian flavors with the convenience of fast service, making it a solid choice for a quick bite, casual meal, or even some sweet...
Read moreWouldn't suggest this store as the staff is very slow and doesn't listen. I wanted to get some sweets and wanted them packaged so that they would withstand travel, but they ended up packing them up in the worst way possible in flimsy cardboard boxes. I have never seen such paper cardboard boxes being used anywhere else and instead of doing one big box (it easily ended up being 3kg), they gave me 250g cardboard boxes of each. Additionally, the staff is VERY slow and rude. They don't acknowledge when you are talking to them in any language.
Additionally, most of the items on display were out of stock. Why are they still showing on display then? They didn't even have the most basic sweets available.
At last, the way they do their payment check out is also very confusing. In fact, the staff screamed at me and my sister because we didn't know that you pay at the different counter.
I would say avoid this...
