Katani premium — Restaurant in Punjab

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Katani Premium Dhaba Sector 79 Mohali, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with soft lighting and tasteful decor that sets the perfect mood for a relaxed yet upscale dining experience.

The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, each more enticing than the last. I opted for the chef's special, a perfectly cooked seared salmon with a side of truffle mashed potatoes, and it did not disappoint. The salmon was fresh, tender, and bursting with flavor, while the mashed potatoes were creamy and rich with just the right hint of truffle.

The service was equally impressive. Our server was attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely seemed to care about our dining experience. Every detail, from the presentation of the food to the pacing of the courses, was meticulously handled.

What really stood out to me was the attention to detail. The chef even came out to greet us and ensure everything was to our liking. It's these small touches that make Katani Premium Dhaba a cut above the rest.

Pathetic service, the staff is super unprofessional and careless.

We were 11 people there for dinner and, ordered drinks and starters to start with. Half drinks arrived early and, rest of the drinks were 25 minutes late.

Ordered 6-7 starters, 1st one arrived and, rest of the food was almost 50 minutes late. I mean, how can you have a small starter getting shared among 11 people and especially when you have vegetarian people in the group. The one which arrived first had a small piece of wrapper inside the chicken. We informed the waiter and, he immediately refused to accept it that it can be there and no apologies from either of their staff.

One apology can do wonders for you. We all are humans and do mistakes but, at least you should apologise and improve the other part of the service so we can have memorable experience.

No knowledge of food is there with the staff. Not even once mentioned which was getting delivered on the table. Asked about 2 different dishes and, waiter had no clue about it.

Didn’t wanted to give even 1 star but, I was not able to post this review without inputing at least 1 star.

There are more good restaurants and food outlets in the surrounding. Don’t waste your money...

One of the standout features is their well-stocked bar, which offers a great selection of drinks and refreshing mocktails—perfect to enjoy with your meal. The staff is polite and efficient, and the service is quick, which makes the experience even better. Whether it's a casual lunch or a relaxed evening out, this place never disappoints.
