La Pino'z Pizza — Restaurant in Punjab

I ordered Monster Pizza (largest size available) at 7.23 pm. I started calling after 8.15 pm. I was constantly told that it is ready. Finally, at 8.45 pm, it was marked 'dispatched' and then I was told that Pizza wasn't ready earlier. My guests have gone now after no food was delivered. What do I do with this cold Pizza now? On top of everything, the staff disconnects the call while talking. And it wasn't mistakenly disconnected. It was disconnected as they didn't have any reply. And I didn't shout or talk rudely at all. Highly unprofessional!! I can attach all call proofs, if necessary.

Edit: The manager on duty last time had promised me a pizza of the same amount whenever I ordered next time. Today I called again to try the service level again. The person on phone checked the whatsapp commitment and confirmed there was this commitment made. But he said that manager has changed now and the commitment is not valid anymore. I am.not going to even try ordering again...

The food is fine and all; pretty good actually. It's just the way they handled one incident is something I didn't like. So, I ordered pizza at my place (some event was happening). Everyone's waiting for the pizza, and around 50 mins later (5+ mins past the scheduled delivery time) I get a notification that the order has been cancelled due to some technical error.

Stuff happens, I get it. But the delay in response and the half heart apology, that's bad customer service. One's gotta be proactive. I would've been cool with the whole thing.

Also, the technical error leading to cancellation, per the conversation, happened some time back. So, a timely update would've been appreciated. Also, why the platform still showed available for placing orders due to continuous technical error after my order got cancelled?🥲

I would've looked for other arrangements in that time. Anyhow, kinda...

The garlic bread was bland and the bread quality seemed poor - overly dry. The Peri Peri Chicken Pizza and Special non-veg one also seemed a mix of random spices, no taste, and same problem of the base quality that seemed too rough and hard - such has low quality material is used to quick. In addition, I think the non veg special pizza was over-cooked / little burned or they might have tried to make it Smokey and overdid. The Veggies (capsicum mostly) on the contrary seemed less cooked (harder to chew) Overall, the quality and taste both were pathetic and far below average. Won’t recommend this place.

Note: I have heard La Pino’s has great pizzas in Chandigarh and that there’s no proper standardisation of taste. Other outlets might be serving better quality.

But I would take a pass...
