Best place to have hygienic food Under the patronage of S. Kartar Singh, Novelty was established in the year 1950 with a small and humble beginning at Lawrence Road, Amritsar. With the hard work and consistent efforts put in by his son, S. Bhupinder Singh, the NOVELTY GROUP started developing into a big tree with manifold progress in different branches of the Group. With the passage of time, S. Jatinder Singh and S. Manvinder Singh, the grandsons of S. Kartar Singh also joined the Group after completing their education.

FOOD DIVISION NOVELTY SWEETS :- Novelty Sweets was the first venture of the Group it was started in the year 1950 by S. Kartar Singh ji. Today, Novelty Sweets is very famous in entire Northern India for its delicious Sweets, Ice Creams and Namkeens. NOVELTY is so famous that the crossing where Novelty Sweets is located is being recognized as Novelty Chowk.

AUTOMOBILES

1. NOVELTY HYUNDAI:- In the year 1996 the group diversified into Automobiles sector. Since then it has been no looking back. We are the authorized dealers for Hyundai Motors for Amritsar and Pathankot district. We are having two Spacious and beautiful showrooms at Pathankot and Amritsar each and Three workshops. The performance has been exceptionally well. Apart from winning may awards from the Company for the Outstanding Performance we have been delivering ,one fact which is worth mentioning that we have been able to maintain the Market Share of Hyundai in our region almost double from the national average of the Company.

2. NOVELTY AUTO:- Novelty Auto is an exclusive dealership of KINECTIC MOTORS for Amritsar district. With an exclusive showroom and workshop at Court Road, Amritsar it is performing very well.

REAL ESTATE

1. OMAXE NOVELTY MALL:- The company is in the process of building an Ultra Modern World Class Shopping Complex cum Multiplex at Novelty Chowk, Amritsar. It is being built in Collaboration with Omaxe Ltd., New Delhi. It will have a 3 screen Multiplex, Food Court and Retail Shops of World class to give the people of Amritsar a new and unique experience. The Construction on the project is already going on in full swing at a very fast pace.

2. NOVELTY MALL, PATHANKOT:- We are also coming up with a Mall cum Multiplex at Dalhousie Road, Pathankot. It is being built up with an investment of about Rs. 3300 lacs. It will be built as per A class specifications and shall have all the modern features such as:- Escalators, Centrally Air- Conditioned etc. It will be the first of its kind in Pathankot. The place is quite good in appearance but the food is really not good. Most of the time I got cold food which was not properly warm. The taste is okay but not very good. Although it's not very expensive place. Their drinks are too sweet and almost all are of similar flavour maybe due to excess sugar. Even one of the waiters was so unprofessional and made us wait a lot. I ordered a drink as asking from the waiter that how it'll be but when it came it was totally opposite the description he gave.

Not only this, entering in the restaurant, we had to wait for several minutes to be greeted and seated, when finally they said hi to us. Even the table they made us sit was not clean at all. We've to call them like 3 times to clean the table properly. Although it was crowded but that doesn't mean that they have to compromise on the quality. There was no taste in Pav Bhaji or Aloo Kulcha at all, and there was no salt or pepper on the table, so you had to try your hardest to attract someone's attention to get a bit of salt, which took a while. Even their veg sizzler was sweet in taste and waiter told us it'll be but spicy. If you charge people, and quite a bit of money, you must give something back. It's really not a good place to visit. I'll not suggest anyone to go...

This happened on April 25, 2024 when we went for dinner, the video says it all! Upon reaching out to the girl at the desk, she started arguing instead of realising the mistake, SHE GASLIGHTED the whole situation by being rude, unprofessional and an egomaniac. I don’t get it how people in customer service don’t even know the true meaning of serving the customers right.

An insect in the soup is one thing, not owning up to your mistake is something else. Could’ve been a totally different outcome if she would have known how to handle the situation the right way which she clearly did not. As a result, she created a scene in-front of other customers and started disrespecting us. Her audacity to scream🤌🏻

Novelty, Please choose your staff wisely, they make all the difference. This review is only for the girl, KALASH - I often feel happy to see girls working hard but people like you change my perspective completely, you had ONE job to serve the customers RIGHT & Congratulations you failed it miserably! I wish you had the right skills, education and etiquettes...
