OUZO LUDHIANA — Restaurant in Punjab

Two words to describe this place, LIT AF!!

Boy-oh-boy. I had to make a second visit to this place when I was in Ludhiana again, and I am going to make sure that I make it to this place again when I visit Ludhiana next. The bands playing are literally Killers. The way they make the crowd go crazy is no less than fans thumping their feet in a music concert. The ambiance is dark and the place is spread over a couple of floors. There is an open terrace as well which opens when the lower floor is swelling with people.

Just imagine Punjabi music, with all those beats and bass, electrifying atmosphere and lovely food. It's all you need if you looking for a good place to hangout. Coming to the food, it tasted great too. We had a couple of starters to go with. The Dimsums were prepared exceptionally well. Very soft and fillings were perfectly cooked. The Cheese Cigar Rolls were crispy and the cheese oozing out of it was truly what one wants. Then came American Corn Salt and Pepper. Nothing wrong with this one. I am lacking pictures here because I was just too busy to listen and dance to the awesome music that was being thrown at me. In fact, the lighting inside was very dark, so it was impossible to capture the food I had.

The main course had Veg/Egg Fried Rice with Veg Manchurian Balls, The rice was perfectly cooked. The rice used were very small grained rice, tossed with various veggies and some eggs. Overall, you cannot complain about the food being served.

You will have a hard time speaking to each other; Extremely loud music. The live bands shut shop at about 12 midnight and then the DJ takes over. They have a full bar too. There own brewed beer didn't taste that great, but the cocktails are superb. I had the Boston Long Island Ice Tea, a superb concoction of all white drinks with Peach Liquer.
