Pirates of Grill — Restaurant in Punjab

Giving my review after visiting restaurant yesterday with 3 Members:- 1)Outside Point:- Located in Lajpat Nagar backside of Bharat Petroleum near Guru Nanak Mission Chowk,Road outside of there is in worst condition,Vallet Parking is there so no worry to park vehicle. 2) Entry Point:- Small reception counter but no one was there at that time,I have booked table at 8:30Pm but due to Heavy Traffic Jam festive season reached there around 9:00PM. Manager allowed and share table to us. 3) Observation Entry Point:- First time visited there if I need to compare with Barbeque this one is small Hosh Posh type,area is not big one and most important which I have felt smog all over there,agreed it’s grill one but we have not felt earlier in Barbeque/Absolute one. Seating table is like tight one not too much space. Position of chairs and table are also lower one. Crowdy and Noisy.Not like atmosphere. 4)Food:- after providing table, we have to wait for around 10-15 min to get started our snacks and Grill, then staff started serve Snacks Starter:- Crispy Corns are good one my daughter like those,Momos are also nice, Kababs are not good, tomato one is also ok one, Best thing in their grill is Pineapple one only, paneer,mashroom and Champ are just ok type only. Golgappe are good one. Main Course is like ok type- Dal is simple one,Paneer and Chana are also ok ok type, not much variety there. Simple salad and Curd not much variety which you will get other one in town.Breads are with huge variety and serve on table as per your demand. 5) Desert:- Having too much variety or giving good taste with less variety need to think by Pirates team, we only love Gulab Jamun and Moong Dal Halwa best in desert. Live Icecream was limited flavour only Vanila and Strawberry. So not like desert, Barbeque serve live Icecream with beautiful preparation and plate. 6)Service:- Staff is too good who serve our table, on feedback form they have asked about manager/chef visited to your table:- I clearly mentioned there no one visited to our table to ask if anything require or about taste. 7)Overall Experience:- We went there to celebrate our Anniversary so we have not enjoyed there Atmosphere is not good which we have felt. Food is also not up to mark,Buffet doesn’t mean to charge something need to provide value for that too. If you really want to compare with Barbeque please listen to customers and their feedback. I gave it a 4 star ratings earlier but this time I am reducing the rating due to the behavior of the staff and management. My booking was from 7-9.30 but just 8 pm they started allotting other customers the same table. They are just standing in front of you staring at you when you will finish. The bill was printed at 8.30 and we were asked to leave, food still on the plates of kids. They don't even know the rules as they charged for my 4.5 yr kid. When asked about it they said they don't bother to ask the customer and charge as they will. Very humiliating experience. But still the food was good that is why 2 stars.

We went there with a group of 12 for dinner. First I will start where they can improve on, like the place seriously needs renovation. The plates are chipped, the decor is gloomy, unstable chairs. But the good part is, if you went there for food you will definitely get satisfied. The quality of materials as well as the taste is much better than many similar buffet restaurants. The service is very good, not like other places where over polite waiters or managers are asking for suggestions every minute without giving you the time even to eat. Me and my friends went to this place since i had been to their delhi branch i talked them into coming here rather than barbeque nation . The food was great and the atmosphere was also good . We arrived there and were quickly presented the starters , but when asked what to repeat they took a long time to serve it again . We then proceeded for lunch and dessert’s but midway through our desserts , the server came and lightly threw the bill on our table . We paid no attention to it so the manager told us to pay the bill since there was waiting outside , had they not taken too much time getting our starters back to us we could have left earlier . They told us 2-3 times again to pay the bill which got us annoyed and we paid the bill , immediately after that they told us to give the table to the other customer , my friend had to get his dessert and finish it standing up in the restaurant. We were there for one and half hour only because of their slow service and because of that they kicked us out . So if you are a slow eater then this place is not for you .
