Sagar Ratna — Restaurant in Punjab

Needless to say, Im a foreigner and I visited Jalandhar, Punjab for the second time and had a sudden craving for dosa. I ordered the Sagar Ratna Special Paneer Dosa and it was around 280 rupees. I had my favorite dosa in Melbourne at dosa hut but Sagar Ratna has took over the spot and the dosa I had from them was exquisitely the best. I am so in love with the coconut dip that comes with the dosa. The curry type I always couldnt handle that and I have to give to my partner. I always order paneer or filling on the side. The dosa came beautifully and it had the tastiest batter mixture I had and it was so crispy. The paneer filling i had on the side was utterly the best. This was by far the most delicious dosa i ever had. I had an extra coconut dip which was a treat. I cant wait to come back to...

one star for having good and tasty food, will suggest people not go here because of extremely bad service and rude behavior of staff, Manager is never found in restaurant and is always missing. They have a policy of wasting food and not packing the food for which u have paid. Had a very bad Saturday night with family here on 29/July/2017. They denied to pack the leftover food of mine and said they have policy of not packing. When i spoke to senior people sitting on cash counter, they didn't even bother to listen. When i said i wont come here again... they said... DONT COME SIR.... ITS NONE OF OUR...

I went there about 2 weeks ago.. Good atmosphere... Peaceful place but I ordered kadayi paneer around 300 and a butter naan for 150 rs. And garlic naan for 185 around and both naan were more like simple roti and more like papad wasted money on them.. else kadayi paneer was yummy only enough for 2 people ... Rates are hell high.. at least customer deserve good solid food, .if customer spending high amount of money. . So was just disappointed on both Naan ... They shloud take care else it hurts while giving bill and doesn't feel to visit again. Sagar Ratan you should not be greedy. Serve...
