Unhygienic Outlet, Poor Service, and Badly Prepared Pizza – A Very Disappointing Experience
I visited a Domino’s outlet today intending to dine in, but unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations in every aspect — from service and food quality to hygiene and outlet maintenance.
First, when I placed my order (Indy Tandoori Paneer Pizza), I faced multiple issues right from the start. While it’s normal to share personal details like my contact number to receive order updates, the system failed in providing accurate communication. I received an SMS within 8–10 minutes saying my order was ready for pickup, but when I went to the counter, the staff told me it wasn’t ready yet. Instead of taking responsibility, the person at the desk blamed the system for sending automated messages based on fixed prep times — clearly, there’s a serious mismatch between actual kitchen operations and customer notifications.
Then came the real disappointment: the pizza itself.
I had specifically ordered the Indy Tandoori Paneer Pizza, which is supposed to include tandoori-seasoned paneer toppings. However, the staff preparing the pizza initially used plain paneer pieces, completely missing the key ingredient that defines this menu item. I even witnessed a senior staff member shouting at the person who made the pizza, highlighting that the pizza costs over ₹400 and should not be served like that. Unfortunately, by the time the mistake was noticed, my pizza had already been fully cooked.
Instead of preparing a fresh one, they simply added the tandoori-marinated paneer to the already baked pizza and sent it through the oven a second time. The result? A completely overcooked, dry pizza with burnt seasoning. It tasted nothing like what it should, and honestly, it felt like a compromise made at the customer’s expense.
To make matters worse, the overall condition of the outlet was shocking: • Unclean tables and food crumbs everywhere, despite the dine-in area being nearly empty. • Bad odor throughout the hall. • Damaged ceiling, ripped couches, and grimy floor tiles with visible dirt and patchy cleaning. • Staff appearance was untidy and not in line with basic hygiene standards.
As a regular Domino’s customer, I was genuinely disappointed by this experience. I have taken several photos of the outlet’s condition and would like to raise a formal complaint. It is unacceptable for such a reputed international brand to allow an outlet to operate in such a mismanaged and unhygienic state — especially when customers are paying premium prices for a dine-in experience.
