I recently visited Hotel Rehmania, Udaipur, and honestly, it was a very disappointing experience. I had heard a lot about their food, especially the biryani, but it turned out to be a total waste of money. The biryani had no real taste, the rice was overcooked, and it didn’t have the proper flavor or aroma you expect from a good biryani. It felt like it was just cooked in a hurry without any care for quality.
Other food items were also not good at all. The khameeri roti was the worst part — it had too much khameer (fermentation), which made it sour and not eatable. Even the texture was hard and rubbery. For the prices they charge, I was expecting much better taste and quality.
I really didn’t enjoy the food or the dining experience here.
Wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for good Mughlai or biryani options in Udaipur. Hope they improve their food quality and service in the future — right now, it’s not...
Read moreHotel Rehmaniya truly exceeded my culinary expectations with their exquisite butter chicken and chicken daana. The butter chicken was a delightful symphony of rich, creamy tomato sauce infused with the perfect blend of spices, complementing the tender chicken pieces. The chicken daana showcased culinary finesse with its succulent bites and flavorful marinade.
However, what elevated the dining experience was the impeccable service provided by the waiter at Hotel Rehmaniya. Attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, the waiter guided us through the menu with genuine enthusiasm, ensuring our preferences were met. Their hospitality added an extra layer of satisfaction to an already exceptional meal.
Hotel Rehmaniya stands out not only for its delectable dishes but also for the outstanding service that transforms a meal into a memorable...
Read moreButter Chicken for People Who’ve Never Seen the Outside World If there were a trophy for the most disastrous butter chicken ever made, this restaurant would proudly take it home. What I got wasn’t butter chicken — it was chicken drowned in red food color and oil, pretending to be something it’s not. There wasn’t a single hint of tomato or that rich, creamy flavor real butter chicken is known for. Instead, it came with so much oil it could fuel a small scooter, and the spice level was so high it could cause instant regret — or possibly a heart attack. It’s as if the chef’s idea of authenticity was just: “Add red color, dump oil, make it burn, done.” This is butter chicken for people who’ve never seen the outside world — or never tasted actual food. Save your taste buds and your arteries — eat literally...
