I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kim's Cafe and Restaurant in Jaisalmer for 11 days and I must say, it was an amazing experience! Not only did I have the opportunity to taste their delicious food every day, but I also had the pleasure of meeting Ali bhai, who is an exceptional chef and a very welcoming host.
Whether you're in the mood for Indian cuisine or continental dishes, both options are equally mouth-watering and flavorful. But the best part of the experience was the ambience of the cafe. It's a perfect spot to work from, relax, or meet other backpackers from all around the world.
Ali bhai's warm hospitality and attention to detail make this cafe truly stand out. He goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels comfortable and satisfied. If you're looking for a cafe that offers delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere, Kim's Cafe and Restaurant is the perfect choice.

We've stayed 3 nights at the relates hostel (Marigold Homestay) and we recommend it. Its the best price/quality we had in our 2 months in India !
All we've ordered and tasted at the restaurant was fast, fresh and very good, from the burger to the local kersangri. The best lemon ginger honey tea we had 🤤 And not expensive !
Ali is a very good cook ! We wanted to taste everything on the menu. Both him and the hostel owner are very nice, always present and there to answer your questions. As they said, we felt like home !

Read moreExcellent cafe with very fair prices, away from the bustle of the busier streets, just opposite the mythical well of the fort and with nice views of the palace and the old foodstore. Ali is an excellent chef who really takes pride in his work and whose friendliness and good spirits are contagious. If you ask nicely with a bit of heads-up he can even make you bespoke soups and together we made shakshuka :) Ask Ashish about the history of Jaisalmer and feel free to put in a music request. The cafe has moved location so some of the images may be outdated. But the new place is similar in style, with nice murals and a...
