The Attic Lounge — Restaurant in Sikkim

Good and economic We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel Cygnett Inn La Maison, located on NH10, easy to access as it is in main road and easy to move around for small walks and talks! Prior to this hotel we had stayed in other hotels in Gangtonk the prices were high but not so clean or friendly, reaching to this Cygnett Inn is one the good thing we did during our Gangtok tour, rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. Bathrooms are also well maintained and clean with required amenities. View from the hotel is really good, the trees and breeze provide us the best view, during our visit it was heavy rain and cold so it was best in memories.

The rooftop restaurant itself has a great ambience, we carried our laptops and worked at-least for 3 hours with a good food and mild musics. Finally staff are courteous and cooperative hotel! Special thanks hotel staffs to Ms. Divika, since form our check in to check out she was helpful, nice gesture and customer care services, she was polite and kind when we compared to other hotels in Gangtonk where we stayed before. Mr. Sagar, when our regular driver was stuck, Sagar was able to arrange a quick Cab to meet our flight timing and the driver was also good, finally Prashant, at the rooftop restaurant, he there beside all our call and orders to make it best service experience.

We ended up coming to Attic when we realized most places shut down dinner service by 9pm and Google Maps showed this place was going to be open till 12 midnight! I called them up and the line was busy and surprisingly I got a call back from them!

The place is on the 4th floor terrace, covered and beautifully decorated. Very professional and warm service, especially by Nikita.

We ordered dal makhani, paneer butter masala and warm rotis. Their kitchen is open till 10:30pm and the food was amazing. I'm addition to the great food they also serve hookah/shisha and drinks, one of the only places we've seen that do both!

The rooftop restaurant/lounge boasts a fantastic location, just 50 meters from SMU campus. During our light dinner visit, we were delighted by the small river channel flowing beneath, offering a calming ambiance. The attentive and well-trained staff ensured our instructions were carefully followed and conveyed to the chef.

We ordered Veg Khao Suey and Chicken Khao Suey, accompanied by Peach Iced Tea, and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious taste of the Khao Suey dishes.

If you're in the area, this experience is definitely worth a try.
