I had a fantastic experience at Taiwah Restaurant! The fried chicken wontons were perfectly crispy and paired beautifully with their in-house complimentary chilli sauce—an absolute treat to start the meal.

For the main course, I tried the Taiwah Special Gravy Chowmein, and it was excellent. The noodles were fresh and springy, topped with a generous portion of chicken, egg, and crunchy vegetables, all smothered in a delicious, savory gravy. An honest take on one of Siliguri’s oldest Chinese restaurant. As you walk in, the place looks almost the same as it used to be. They could have improved the ambience of the place. The building and entrance looks a bit dilapidated. Can be revamped to give it a clean look. While there are some beautiful Chinese painting on the wall, but the decor is still not upto the mark. The whole place needs a good touch up. Now coming to the food, it’s decent. All the items we ordered were good. The staff were polite and courteous. I would have given the a 5 star had the ambience being in place. Hopefully, the owners will read the reviews and work on the asthetics...
