Aasife Biriyani — Restaurant in St. Thomas Mount Cantonment

First of all I should say this is not AASIF BROTHERS RESTAURANT and more it’s some local resturant run by family and they just using AASIF BROTHERS shop name / menu / and spoiling the well built AASIF BROTHERS name. We Order Briyani you don’t believe they gave just Briyani rice with odd looking chicken skin & 3 small piece fried chicken with no favour nothing and the Kathrikka chutney was like kolumbu just watery, they served to us as if we never eaten Briyani. Looks like they are just new in business doesn’t know to how cook.. But they talk very good!!!! O taste / horrible presentation and on top they call this their best Briyani … Worst experience / Never ever visit this AASIF BROTHERS in Buttroad PARANGIMALAI / Even the small shop just next to BUTTROAD Mosque taste better than this. Who ever the owner they should visit some restaurant to taste the Briyani or else atleast to go & see what Briyan looks like. We have visited this place a number of times previously, and we visited recently after a long time, due to the outbreak of corona.

The ambience looks little downgraded compared to our previous visits and we have ordered mutton biryani and chicken lollypop which were served very quickly. Biryani was excellent, tasty and flavourful. Chicken lollypop was top notch. Cost moderate. Only letdown is that the biryani served was not very hot.

The ambience needs to be upgraded if they expect family and friends' group visit. A word of caution. Don't visit their rest room. Horribly maintained.

I have wasted my 750 rs. Very worst experience here we have ordered my parcel 2:30 pm only. The briyani was not hot I have complaint to supervisor he again take my order and given another parcel that one also not hot( just pick my parcel and hold it again given same parcel to me).After reaching home the briyani was very worst taste look like one day before prepared. After eating briyani feel like vomiting sensations. The Government should close this type food poison Shops.
