Kathipara Park — Attraction in St.Thomas Mount-Pallavaram Cantonment Board

Had a terrible experience at Kathipara Food Street – Children’s Park! 😡 Me and 10 of my friends were just sitting peacefully, singing, and enjoying our weekend night. Suddenly, the security came and picked a fight, and the manager spoke to us very rudely, saying groups are not allowed in the park.

They even said children are not allowed to play in the Children’s Park! 🤯 They accused us of being like gangs doing illegal meetings — just because we were in a group?

We were not disturbing anyone. Just laughing and spending time together in a public space. Are we not allowed to sit and relax as friends? Do we look like criminals?

This kind of behavior is totally unacceptable. Worst management ever seen in a public place. 😤 Requesting the authorities to please look into this and stop such biased and insulting treatment of normal people.

The kids play area could have been better with more swings and equipment. A kids train which goes for 3 rounds is too costly, costing ₹.100/kid, that too without any bill. The Kids play area is purely business oriented for attracting kids to the paid Game Zone. Easily Accessible place within the city. Sufficient parking place is thr. 30 Rs for 4 wheeler. The food court has a lot of varieties of Small outlets from south indian to chinese. North indian chats are available. No North indian Main course food available. One ID restaurant and Junior Kuppannaa Restaurant is there. Junior kuppannaa has only non-veg foods, no veg except idly and uthappam. Chats' prices are on the Upper side.
