Pathetic customer service! I've been a customer of this branch since 20 odd years! This is my first bad experience with them! Paid them via gpay. That cashier guy due to his own error did not get the payment notification. However, I had proof that the transaction was successful and that their bank had received the amount. The manager and the cashier both kept insisting that the transaction failed. Even though my app said that it was successful. The manager then assured me that within 48 hours, he will check with his database and refund my amount and made me pay again. Since A1 chips is such a prominent brand, I trusted him.. My biggest mistake ever! He made no attempt to contact me or even check the status of that transaction. I had to call him repeatedly and ask about it only to receive some random useless response from him. Even got a statement from my bank stating that the transaction was received by their bank. Still these people are in denial! Its been 8 days from the date of transaction. If as these people had claimed, the transaction had failed, id have got the money back in my account by now. No such activity has been recorded. I was cheated of my money. Terrible response from them! Hope no one else falls for this sham like me. Please beware of such...

This is my favourite snack shop from my childhood. They have started near my home 50 years back and I'm the 3rd generation benefitter as my grandfather used to buy snacks from here for my mother and her brother and my mother and uncle used to get it for me. When I was young it was barley 1 or 2 shops now they've grown very far from it. Have branches in different districts of Tamilnadu. This is one of the shop I know that still possess the same taste till now, should really appreciate their consistency. A1 Macaroon is finest in the city, almost authentic to thirunelveli. I have seen all the organisational changes made to improve themselves in this industry and still maintaining the same texture and quality food. The price has skyrocketed from other snacks provider available, yet the quality hasn't compramised a bit.

Chips vice lot of varieties are available but sweets not so attractive like any other shops. But their chat items like pani poori, bhel poori, curd poori, phav bajji and so good and delicious. But after this Covid lock down these items are closed and not available. I am waiting to see it gets open...
