This is with regards to Selaiyur A2B, one of the worst attitude built restaurant. Ive been there 3 times, all the 3 times i was out with some hatred, first i thought its my mistake or my expectations are high, but then later when fellow neighbour tables started to react then understood not my issue.
90% Waiters, non of them from local state, they dont know local language nor English. we are forced to speak in Hindhi which i dont know.
Their Attitude is "if you wanna eat, eat and go, This is how we are"
Even the floor manager Mr Prem. the reason to put this post who triggered me recently on my visit to A2B and also made me to take decision, not do any business with ADAYAR ANADHA BHAVAN hence forth.
I had planned to invite my friend to A2B for lunch at 1 pm, total Pack of 13 Individuals, which is not large crowd to book a hall too. Occasion was serving rice to my 6 month old son first time, which is something lil special occasion.
Ive been trying to reach A2b on call for 2 days before the event on 12th, Non of them had the courtesy to attend the calls, even the corporate office. Very unprofessional firm.
On 12th i asked my friends to come to A2B Selaiyur and we went there half hour before so that i can speak to floor manager and arrange the seatings accordingly.
Floor manager was not on floor had to wait 10 min for him to come , after he came and before explaining the occasion, he straight forward said," we cant do any thing, you can come eat and go as per the waiting order, no tables can be combined nor you can have any meetings here". which really hit my feelings, when i asked all my friends to come and i am not getting any support from this fellow manager for this occasion.
If he would have heard my reasons and request completely i would have accepted, he was not in a position to listen. Then i immediately took a call to change the venue with deep hearted,
I searched for Sangeetha hotel now renamed to Geetham - Medevakkam, got the number and called them thinking of a luck whether they will pick or not. Surprised me that they picked in the 3rd ring, i told them my occasion they listened and told me to come 15 min in advance we will arrange you the table for 15 people. Which was something great and earned my respect on them . Hats of to the customer service guyz!!!
Immediately informed my friends to come there, to make me surprise, just on a call, when i reached there the floor manager gave use a separate place with special treatment, this was really wonderful we got our time and all had good time among and served my son his first time rice.

Read moreUpdate: Place is still the same. They do not switch on in the ground floor but they are keeping their sweets in the same floor. Better avoid buying sweets as it will go bad earlier.
Should have been a best experience given the price however, it was the worst. They asked to sit in the first floor and took a lot of time to bring the orders (My first order was just a plate of idly and even that took a lot of time). Idly was good. Butter rotis were not hot and panner tikka masala didn't taste good. Sometime after I started eating, my forehead started to sweat and the waiter said the person who took names at the ground floor should have informed that AC was not working which he didn't. I asked him why the AC was not working last time as well. He directed me to the cash counter for this query. Supervisor at the counter just said Ok, Ok and did not have any specific answer. A lady came then and asked what the problem was and replied that the AC was working and only in some areas it was not working. (Only the AC unit which was directly opposite to the entrance was working and others weren't. Hence, the room was definitely not cool given that the doors were repeatedly opened/closed). I said they should have informed that the AC was not working and she repeatedly said that it was working which implied that I was not being truthful. She was very rude. The last time when I came here they asked everyone who came after me to go the second floor due to an issue in pipes and people who were already there were eating in the first floor itself. They switched off the AC then as well even though there were many still eating. I asked her why the AC was not working then as well when there since the issue was only in the wash room pipe she mumbled something and did not give any proper answer. Not one word was said to show that they were sorry and she started blaming me saying I shouldn't have a problem since she said she will take a complaint. I asked her to give it to me in writing that she has taken a complaint (since she was being rude to me) she refused and said that I am creating a problem. They have switched off AC twice(at least once) since they were serving in a different floor without bothering about the customers who are eating already or about informing them. I feel cheated. A restaurant which is charging a premium and hikes rates every now and then shouldn't function in...
Read moreWorse place.. Not at all a hygienic place to dine in. I went for dinner last night. None of the employees had mask covering mouth and nose. They were just having it for the sake below the mouth. The whole restaurant was busy with crowd and was able to see all the employees were having fun time, having chit chat at one corner. One other server, he was bringing the order in one hand and using mobile (whatsapp) in other hand..!! I ordered for fruit salad. It took a while, so I stepped out to washroom. There I happened to see something, the person who was cutting the fruits, without having the mask on, sneezed just next to the sliced fruits by covering his nose with his hands (though one hand was covered with glove). He simply continued cutting the fruits without washing his hand or changing the glove. I can even say he sneezed and added that as toppings to the fruit salad. After seeing the style of making this fruit salad, I really dint had a feel of eating that but paid 105rs for it.
Dear A2B, we people are coming to A2B, assuming that the place, the workers, the food and everything is so hygienic. But it's not so.. You started losing your reputation by having all North Indian labours in and none of them knows what hygienic means, that too during this covid time..!!! We felt like we entered into a local Dhaba for a moment. Thats how it was, so pathetic..
