I visited your A2B Ekkattuthangal branch on 5th December 2024 at 10:15 AM with my family. We initially ordered 2 idlies and one ghee roast. The waiter informed us that idlies were unavailable, so we changed our order to two ghee roasts. However, a few minutes later, I noticed idlies being served to a nearby table that ordered after us. When I pointed this out and reordered idlies, they were served to me immediately. This inconsistent behavior seemed deliberate, and though I could have overlooked it, the experience didn’t end there.
Later, I requested coconut chutney, and the waiter claimed it was finished. Yet again, I saw it being served to the nearby table. This kind of preferential treatment and mismanagement is highly disappointing, especially from a reputed hotel like A2B.
To add to the chaos, a group of Hindu priests arrived after some time and engaged in an argument over not being served properly and miscommunication by your staff. This further highlighted the operational inefficiencies and lack of coordination among your team.
I don’t know what challenges your staff were facing today, but this level of service is unacceptable. I strongly suggest providing capacity-building training for your team to address these issues and improve customer service.
I am deeply disappointed, as my family and I have always admired A2B for its quality and cleanliness. However, this experience has left me disheartened. I assure you that I will not visit this branch again and will cancel all future orders we had planned for our corporate events. Such a lack of professionalism is a significant letdown for a brand I...
Read moreVisited the outlet on 4th March along with wife and kid by evening around 7.30. Ordered ghee roast and kozhukattai whereas the food was provided immediately and my 3yr old kid was having dosa. The waiter came back after 10 mins and checked for further orders. We informed no further food required. The waiter came back once again after 10 mins and provided bill which was never asked for while we were having food. The waiter came back once again after 10 mins and asked whether the payment is through card/cash while my kid was still having dosa. The restaurant was occupied hardly 25% and there were many tables empty still forcing the customer to move out. Kids food intake will be slow and even after seeing the kid eating the waiter indirectly force you to move out.
Since the waiter was a North Indian my initial impression was he might not be aware but I over heard the conversation whereas a Tamil guy looking like a manager asking him why are they still eating for the bill of only Rs.250?. That is where I understood that it's the culture of the organisation monitoring the time taken with value of the bill and never cared about the customer satisfaction. While paying the bill informed the waiter to not force indirectly when you can see the people eating. The shocking part is the waiter never cared for it and left the table by showing his face.
Better don't visit A2B if you want to have food along with kid and if your bill value is lesser since they value the person based on the bill value.
This is not my 1st visit to the brand or the same outlet but this instance made my mind to never return back to any of...
Read moreI had a disappointing experience at a2b hotel in Ekatuthangal during lunch today . Despite arriving as a couple, we were neglected in favor of larger groups of people who seemed to receive preferential treatment. The behavior of the staff, particularly Mr. Raja, was unacceptable.
We were initially made to wait in queue but without giving proper information, he made unilateral decision to send whomever comes after me as he wishes(since we went there only as 2 members) . When I inquired about this, Mr. Raja displayed a dismissive attitude and showed no concern for our dissatisfaction. Instead of addressing the issue, he argued with us and asked us to make way for the next group of customers. So we left the place without having our lunch.i have informed this matter to their manager and came out from this place where there was no respect. It was clear that the staff attitude at a2b hotel in Ekatuthangal prioritized business over customer service. The arrogant and entitled attitude displayed by Mr. Raja was unwarranted and unprofessional.
Overall, my experience at a2b hotel in Ekatuthangal was very bad by the poor behavior of the staff, particularly Mr. Raja(who acts as owner of this concern). It is disappointing to see such a lack of respect and care for...
