Layalee Global Cuisine Restaurant — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

We celebrated my daughter’s first birthday at this hotel, having initially chosen it for the great food at their restaurant. We visit the restaurant at least once a month for casual meals, which led us to inquire about the availability of a party hall here.

The party hall was spacious and could accommodate up to 300 guests. It also has a makeup room and restroom attached to it. The restroom was clean and well-maintained, while the makeup room was large, featuring a full-length mirror and a sofa. While the makeup room is functional, it’s more suitable for storing gifts and other items than for use during the event itself, so we booked separate rooms for guests.

As for the hall, it looked fantastic, and the food was outstanding. We customized the buffet to include both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Everyone at the event was impressed, particularly with the mutton biryani and mutton Rogan Josh. Typically, buffet biryani isn’t great, but here it was exceptional, with the mutton cooked to perfection—thanks to the executive chef at Layalee.

The staff were incredibly friendly, and both the Admin manager, Noushad, and the operations manager, Bejoy, were very helpful throughout the event. They made great suggestions and assisted us until the very end.

MD Events (Sangeetha and Krishna) were the decorators for the event. They are a talented, budget-friendly team. We requested a jungle theme, and they executed it beautifully, incorporating real leaves and lighted stands. They also set up a selfie booth, which was a huge hit, allowing guests to capture great memories. Additionally, they arranged a balloon shooting and balloon sculpture activity that the children thoroughly enjoyed.

The only area for improvement was the rooms. The air conditioning in one room wasn’t working well, and in another, there was a leakage issue with the AC. We raised these concerns multiple times, and we hope the issues will be...

Location: Great location.. it's an on road restaurant... Easy to find out.. Dining is Located on the first floor .. Wheelchair entrance available for specially challenged people ...

Food: One of the best foods I have had in recent times in chennai... Definitely delivers a global taste which you will not get in all restaurants....

Or in other words, you will not get the taste of a common restaurant where too much spice, masala and sauces are common.

Service: it was good ... We almost reached at closing time of the restaurant at 3:50pm ... Were 4 pm was the closing time ... The restaurant was empty except us .. in spite of that, they took our order and served with smile .. Good job by all the staff at restaurant... 👍.. I am happy to give a 5 star rating for this alone ..

Food was delivered on time .. Very beautifully presented.. It's just very pleasant to see the way food was arranged on a plate ... Which increased our appetite..

Price: Justifying price for an on road restaurant and for food taste ... We ordered roughly 7 to 8 items for 4 members .. and paid roughly Rs.3000... Which you might feel expensive if you compare it with other restaurants ...

Parking: Enough parking space. valet parking is not available....

Security was attentive and active .. Helped us to park and take out our car when needed ..

Ambience: The ambience is very welcoming and pleasant ... Furnitures and table arrangements are planned well .. It was very comfortable..

With food and ambience this restaurant is good for romantic couples and also for family persons....

Crowd: Only us On Thursday at 4pm ( It was closing time) .. so it's...

Finally I got chance to visit this place. It is relatively new restaurant. The support staff welcomed us with a smile. This place has a unique interiors it will make you think as a royal Arabian place. This place has a perfect ambience. We started off with a Cream of Chicken soup. Garlic flavor was strong if not it would have been lot nicer. BBQ chicken was evenly cooked and tasted good. BBQ boneless Fish was great. I am more of chicken fan. But fish here was fantastic and a must try. For main course I had Briyani. They offer 2 flavours in Briyani here. one is Madras style and the other is Hyderabadi. I chose the former one. The blend was great. Though the quantity was more I did not feel stuffy in eating the whole thing. Which you will always do in other restaurants due overwhelming amount of spice and Oil/Ghee. For Desserts, we had Mini Falooda and Pista Ice-cream Milk shake. Falooda tasted good. In the Pista Milk shake they have added Peanuts. I didn't like the choice there. Service staffs were courteous with Smiley faces. Price of the food here is reasonable and provides value for money.

Note: There are two entrances for this hotel. One on the front and one on side near to the parking(Which is not being used). They have stuck a notice on the door to use the front entrance. It would be great if they put a sign on the start of the stairs. Today, I myself encountered many people turning away after climbing the stairs. I am one...
