AGS Restaurant — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Yesterday i had a horrible experience @ A G S Restaurant, Medavakkam. I ordered chicken kothu paratta and my wife ordered dosa along with chappathi. While ordering chappathi and dosa she mentioned that she prefers only veg dishes. The server delivered the dosa first, which was prepared atleast an hour ago. I insisted that dosa was not hot and he brought another one along with chicken gravy. We insisted that we prefer veg gravy and he again bought the veg gravy(Sambar) which was prepared in the morning. He then delivered the chappathi along with same chicken gravy. In this hotel whether you order veg or non veg you get the same non-veg gravy. I have never received non-veg gravy when i ordered for a veg dish at a hotel like this. Its the first time that a hotel did not provide chutney when you order a dosa. Also, the quality of food was very poor. I would recommend people not to waste their money if you go that way. While paying the bill i asked the supervisor that why you dont give veg gravy while ordering a veg food. The supervisor argued and arrogantly replied that this is the procedure and if customer wants veg gravy they have to ask for veg gravy and we wont provide it even when veg food is ordered. I was travelling from sholinganallur to tambaram. Suddenly rain came and I was hungry didn't have my lunch and it was 6: 30pm so entered a near by restaurant which is AGS.. When I entered the hotel was seems to be big in size but no customer was there. I was thinking whether to have food here or not. Then decided to eat. Ordered half BBQ chicken and one plain biriyani.. BBQ was awesome and biriyani was like home made.. I really should talk about the service. Person named JEEVA I would even rate 10 for him and his service before u ask for anything u will get it that kind of service he offered when I was finish my meal I noticed the restaurant was full and more than people who came there online order was like wow every one min online order was placed and guys from swiggy and zomato were in queue to pick the order.. Price was also very low.. One of the best restaurant in medavakkam. I would recommend all to try this...

I ordered for panner biriyani.

I got a chicken pieces from panner biriyani. I'm a vegetarian & I can able to make an complaint I just missed out.

I just got an worst experience. Worst hotel I have ever seen.

Meals also bad.

I reached the hotel they are telling like we take chicken biriyani and remove the chicken & add panner to the biriyani & that is Panner biriyani worst reply.

Then why are you saying like panner biriyani and other stuffs of vegetarian.

We are trusting and only we are buying vegetarian stuffs.

Very bad about this...
