Ciclo Cafe — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Experience of a different kind. After watching an evening show we entered into this restaurant. After place an order , my husband took his insulin shot. We were waiting patiently. Since the order was for a paneer platter for a starter and a rice with smoked broccoli 🥦 for main course.

Usually the themed fine dine places take time. We waited for more than 20 minutes. As a couple we were trying to strike a conversation and keep ourselves engaged so that we will foget how hungry we were!

When we observed that the people who were sitting next to us left after having their dinner ! 10 minutes later another couple came to sit there. They placed their order. It was getting late and they were hungry too. Once their pizza 🍕 was served only , did we realise that the waiters didn't bother to even look at us.

I called for the girl who passed by. Told her to check for our order. She didn't care. We couldn't spot the waiter who took our order. There was no crowd in the restaurant at all.

Then i told the man behind the counter that we are leaving so cancel the order still they had such a glum face.

Then we just walked out of the place.

The best part was that noone stopped us.

We have had food in CICLO other branches too , We have never had this kind of treatment!!

Anyways, guys if you are planning to visit this place recheck if the order has been placed properly.

Such a waste of time. Thank god my hubby didnt faint in hunger and low sugar.

Will never ever forget...

I go to the Kotturpuram branch regularly so I expected this branch to match the expectations only to be met with great disappointment. I took my small pet dog for breakfast and was welcomed by staff saying “your dog will be removed if he has any accidents while inside”. I understand your “MD’s instruction” but that’s certainly not the way a customer expects to be welcomed, as if pets are untouchable. For all the over-the-top behaviour displayed by staff on bringing pets, the restaurant was maintained poorly. Dead flies, moths and insects all around. Definitely not suitable for pets. If you’re planning on bringing your pet, please know that while they market themselves as “pet friendly”, you and your pet will be treated with flippancy.

About the food— barely any quality in the food. It tasted mediocre. Ordered a simple omelette that took forever to arrive. Had to remind staff about our order several times only for someone to come back 20 mins later and ask what we ordered.

Pathetic customer service, food and overall hygiene of the place. Will not be ordering from here or visiting ever again!

A special message to your MD— please teach your staff to welcome customers and pets with courtesy. There’s a lot to do if this branch of the restaurant is to last...

Had high expectations for this place and it was an complete disspointment. 1.they have given that the cafe opens by 8 but they opened it only by 11. I had traveled around 40 kms just to try out this place but I had tu wait more than an hour to enter. Hope they chnage the timing to 11 in their website.

2.i ordered a chicken hot dog, crossiant sandwich and bagel sandwich. All the food were cold... The stuffings were also cold and the outer bun were moderately warm.

3.Crossiant sandwich was somewhere around 325.The bun crust was not hot nor crunchy and crispy it was just like a regular bun soft. Their stuffing the ham and other stuffs were very bland and it felt like they kept it in directly from fridge.

4.Hot dog... Even normal street food hot dog would be better here it was just a sausage and a toasted bun and little sauce.. There was not fillings and it tasted so dry.

5.Bagel sandwich was they worst among all... Bun was so hard the cheese slice has not melted little also whole dish yeas cold and we actually couldt finish it.

6.To conclude... This place doesn't satisfy the price kept for their dishes as the quality of food is so bad. My friend had immediate diarrhea and I had gastritis.

7.No idea about other branches of ciclo... Uthandi branch...
