I ordered a flat white with coconut milk. It’s really strong. And a friend got an orange juice. It’s decent. But the customer service is terrible. There were cute button sized, complimentary cookies (1 per coffee) I didn’t get mine, and asked for it. She offered a big cookie ‘made from the same dough’ But I didn’t want a big cookie, just wanted to taste it. What seemed like very, VERY grudgingly, she started to open the jar. I had lost my appetite for it, so I asked her to forget it. So…she did. Also needed some more coconut milk, but they ‘only make for one cup’

P.S: I hear you on the coconut milk. On cookies, you told me it wasn’t vegan, I said that’s fine by me. And I asked for 2 cookies. Literally 2. Then you said that it doesn’t come with Orange Juice. So I said I could take 1. My friend wanted to taste it. That you don’t serve it with vegan coffee, I didn’t know. I felt very uncomfortable for having asked, that’s why I refused. And you were also like, yeah whatever. My bad. I guess I asked for too much.

I am a frequent visitor of Auroville and mostly head to auroville bakery for breakfast. Took a chance with coffee break and realised I should've tried it out long ago. The sandwiches are fab and coffee is great. CB has a nice cozy seating space. But the shakes... Oh My! That's a different story: I consider myself to make fruit / milk shakes pretty well and am generally dissatisfied with the turn out at most places.
