We went at 3 PM on a Saturday and found the place fully vacant. While their wood-fired pizzas come highly recommended, we opted for the Tuscan chicken and chicken lasagna. I recently dined at this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the nice atmosphere, especially during our evening visit. The ambiance was quiet and intimate, perfect for a weekday night out. The soft lighting and comfortable seating made for a relaxing dining experience, allowing me to enjoy a wonderful conversation with my partner.

We started with the country mushroom soup, which was flavorful and rich, setting a great tone for the meal. The chicken lasagna was a standout dish, perfectly layered with a creamy and delicious blend of cheese and chicken. You'll see a 5 because this was truly amazing pizza. Thin crust pizzas, with 4 size options. Very well toasted crunchy bread at the bottom with a handsome topping of vegetables/meat and the right amount of cheese. So we mostly ordered pizzas and some other food, which was good enough to satisfy the taste buds of a 3 year old and even us adults.

Coffee lovers - ask for cold coffee double strong and slightly less sugar - easily one of the best cold coffees all of us had tasted. On our 4 day stay at Pondicherry, we visited twice - specifically for the cold coffee double strong and... the gold medalist for best dessert - the lotus biscoff cheesecake. We even parcelled a couple of cheesecakes back to our homestay.
