Very poor while serving. Need to ask each and everything like tissue paper , mayonnaisee and green chutney for tandoori, lemon for chicken 65 and gobi 65. The taste of mushroom masala for butter naan and roti is very worst. Don't prefer this Punjabi restaurant. And one more thing we have asked mayonnaise and green chutney for tandoori and the highlight is we received green chilli paste instead of green chutney.. Worst ever experience I ever had. And service which we received was very bad. The waiter doesn't have proper knowledge on the items listed in the menu. To the owner we have money to buy the food and we don't need anyone to give it for free of cost. You can eat the item with its overlayer 😂 but we can't . We don't know how is inside the tandoori right that's why we ate... Use knowledged waiter for restaurant they don't know what is green chutney 😂... Instead of that they are providing green chilli sauce 😂..And remember one thing we have treated the waiter in a good manner only not like a slave. We have seen many people and we know how to treat them don't teach us... And we are not making fake review... Don't you know to place a tissue paper in a table for customers we have asked him to provide in a polite way go and ask him each and everything we asked him to provide for us. This is the first time i had mushroom gravy which is like tamarind gravy with mushroom inside it😂😂😂... Listen it's your duty to place a tissue in each and every table before serving you haven't done it and telling that this will not come under complaint. You give some respect to the...
Read moreI visited this restaurant based on recommendations from localites staying in Erode. I was even given the items from the menu which are signature dishes. On visiting the restaurant, which is easy to locate via Google maps, I had no trouble finding a parking spot, due to the ample parking available. I ordered Japan chicken, parotta, Butter Naan, shredded chicken (pichu potta chicken). Additionally, I was told that their Kohlapuri chicken and coconut payasam are must haves. However, I was disappointed to learn that they do not have either of them on the menu. Hence I ordered chettinad chicken. Given the reviews I received for Japan chicken, my expectation was to taste something extraordinary. However, the Japan chicken was absolutely disappointing, thus shattering my expectation. It seemed like boiled chicken mixed in cashew cream gravy, without the flavors blending in. The parotta is a little different from the usual mess parotta. It doesn't have layers. The gravy served with the parotta was on point, what you expect from such joints. The chettinad chicken wasn't as spicy as expected, probably low on pepper. The saving grace was the pichu potta chicken. Good blend of pepper and onions and curry leaves. At the end the semya payasam did a fair job as a dessert. On the whole, disappointing, given the expectations...
Read moreAbsolutely disappointed with the taste and also attitude of the owner (who seemed to be attending guests that day). I was very much excited to dine at Pavizham after a longtime but it all went wrong every minute I spent there.
We waited for 10mins just to get the waiters attention (we got the seats at outside dining) just to speak and get the menu card alone.
We spoke to a person (who is the owner of the restaurant) to get our orders written which took another 10mins. He was just rude when we asked if he could say what was available for dinner.
We literally saw the owner yelling at the waiter and when he came to our table and I was shocked when he yelled at us because we asked if he could serve us a Soup.
We were told to order only mains (at first the owner said that everything on the menu is available). Chicken dynamite was lacking flavour and even salt was less. Paneer pepper was good but too oily.
For the very first time in my life, I was scared of asking the waiter for ordering a dish.
I understand that there can be days with shortage of labour or dishes but that doesn’t give the owner the right to shout at his customer.
I will never ever recommend this...
