Hotel Vasantham Ramapuram — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

The worst hotel in Ramapuram (In my case entire Chennai). First they are treating the customers like a beggar they are asking to pay the money to make bills before serving the foods, that’s also ok but after given the bill to the server especially there is one guy (who is bald and using kumkum) he treats all the customers like a slave and beggar and another guy who is also the server (using big namam) they don’t even listen what customers are saying and how to treat them. They will provide the side dishes once we complete the whole food only, if we asking anything to them then they are speaking like a king of total chennai city and they simply said if you don’t like then don’t eat and go away like this. I asked them i will give money so i have all the rights to raise the questions but they are said all are paying but we don’t have time to listen your words. Based on my experience the taste is ok for this hotel but the servers attitude is worst, may be the hotel management giving some mental counselling to that both guys they thinks like they will provide the food to all the customers by his money…. Awesome. Can't believe such a tasty food at such a price. The mini tiffin @Rs.80/-.you get 1idli,dosa,vada,poori and Pongal. The test of all items are really good. And they give 2 chutneys and sambar.

Taste of items is really good. The idly is like a sponge. The softest idli I every ate. Sitting arrangements are very simple. At this price what else u can expect. Still maintained hygiene. The staff and employees are down to earth and polite. They obey all your requests.

And final one is Filter coffee. It's really good.one of the best coffee I tried. And you get that in old style glass and bowl.

Only issue is they won't accept Google pay and phone pay. Card payment is there.Better I suggest to go with cash only.

The place is easily visible from highway or main road.Opposite ABB IT tower.

They have take away option also. Apart from breakfast they supply lunch and paraths in dinner.

Most important one ,they serve only veg.No non veg items.

Morning hours between 8to 9.30 and night 7 to 8Pm is bit crowded. But ok,as they have sufficient seating arrangements.

They have sufficient parking space to park four wheelers also.

Over all a cost affective restaurant, with tasty...

Worst attitude towards customers. Even Regular customers. I happen to be a frequent customer to this restaurant. I visit this place atleast 8-10 times a month. It is located close to my office. Recently, this place replaced their card machine. And since then my debit card is repeatedly not getting picked up by their machine. My debit card is from a reputable bank, and has never before been declined at any outlets. This outlet does not have Paytm, Tez or any other payment service. I have been talked back to rudely, whenever my card was declined (which is about 2-3 times recently). It was an embarrassing ordeal for me. In top of it, the staff at the outlet picked up an argument with me, when i suggested that they get paytm / tez. I wanted to call the manager down to the store, but then i was in morning rush for my office. If the manager of the store bothers to read this(or even cares about customer service, which I doubt.), please contact me/ reply to this review with your number.
