VAPOR - BAR & LOUNGE — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

A visit to the Oktoberfest was on my bucket list on things to do and when I came to know that Vapor at Feathers Hotel was conducting it from 1st October  through 6th October I headed there forthwith.

Its a sprawling place and there was a raised area akin to the famous Beer Tents of Munich with the festival colours Blue and White. Of course we chose to sit there to enjoy the atmosphere.

In addition to other Alcoholic Beverages both Imported and Indian made as a way of celebrating the Oktoberfest they have Imported  STANGEN BEER @Rs 1500 Nett / Bucket, Domestic Draught@ Rs 1800 Nett for a 4 Litre Tower, Imported Draught@ Rs 4642 Nett for a 4 Litre Tower and also serve Bar Tender Special Cocktail @ Rs750 Net for a Beer Based Cocktail.

While Beer is the highlight of Oktoberfest, it dosent  seem the same without food and Vapor serves the perfect accompaniments to the Beer with their offerings of Bavarian fare.

We started with an amuse bouche - a watermelon Gazpacho which was a taste bud tingler with a hit of Tabasco sauce.

Next was the Lentil extract with Chicken sausage served in quite small cups. Ooh, This was a medley of flavours in the mouth, literally. I never knew that simple lentils could give these intense and satisfying flavours. I wished the servings were a bit bigger. To go with we had Pretzels.

For starters we had the Mini German Meat Patties with hot mustard. These were so delicious and juicy that we had to ask the chef how he prepared it. The skewered Veg & Chicken sausage wre right up there in terms of taste and presentation. I would go there just for the food alone, it was so good.

We had to try the Sausage Platter, without which the Oktoberfest would have been incomplete and Homemade Spatzle with tomato sauce and finished with A Black Forest Cake and a Bienenstich. A perfect ending to my Oktoberfest and now I can cross it...

We recently visited Feathers Hotel Chennai for a casual date as husband and wife, and it was an unforgettable experience. The ambiance was elegant and welcoming, setting the perfect tone for our outing.

What truly made the evening special was the little surprise arranged for my husband. A big shout-out to Aisika, Prayash, and Riju for going above and beyond to make our visit memorable. Their thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and warm hospitality...

Applause to the stewards in place to honor the guest leaving them wait so long and vague response. super moron will appreciate their hospitality being a 5 start rate lounge. Hope I'll never glance this place ,which has to improvise lot on handling the the guest than having lime line...
