I visited Jain's Padmavathi Restaurant this morning around 9:30 AM, there was a huge crowd. The place was very busy, but there were only two servers handling about 10 to 12 tables, which made the service a bit slow.
The food quality was good – I had the masala dosa and poori, However, I was disappointed with the pricing. According to the menu, the masala dosa was listed at ₹100 and the poori at just under ₹100, but I was charged ₹280 for these two items, which felt unreasonable. When I questioned the price at the billing counter, a lady was handling the payments but didn’t provide much clarity on why the prices were so high compared to the menu.

Read moreDuring our visit to Yelagiri, we opted for dinner at this restaurant and tried their masala dosa, podi dosa, and set dosa. The dosas had a slight sourness to them, but were otherwise okay in taste. The standout feature of our experience was the courteousness of the staff and the welcoming atmosphere.
This restaurant stands out as one of the limited vegetarian options available in Yelagiri. Unlike many others that close early, we appreciated that it stayed open until 9 PM, allowing us to enjoy a leisurely dinner even later in the evening.
Overall, if you find yourself in Yelagiri and craving some South Indian flavors, this restaurant offers a decent selection with friendly service. It's a reliable choice for vegetarians in the area, despite the slight sourness in the dosas we tasted and no parking...
Read moreJain’s Padmavathi was a godsend restaurant for us, as we prefer dining only in pure vegetarian restaurants.
Being the only veg restaurant in Yelagiri, we were initially skeptical of how it would be, but everything about this restaurant really took us by surprise.
Food is very very nice, offering sufficient variety of dishes. The owner, Mr. Naveen Mehta, is very friendly and accommodated our requests of making a non-garlic dish for our parents’ anniversary. The staff here is very friendly and hospitable, and they’ll go out of their way to make your dining experience as wholesome as possible. The place looks hygienic and the cutlery was very neat and clean.
We ate everything from breakfast to dinner here during our stay at Yelagiri, and for sure next time we’re here, this restaurant will be our...
